Mark's Pov

Why did we have to leave the bed?

"It's breakfast time."

I was sleeping.

"Then go back to sleep. Grump ass."

When I walked into the breakfast room, it seemed like he left. I don't know where he goes but my headache goes away and I feel like I have control of my body.

I got a tray and got a bagel and some fruit.

"There He is, Mr. Hero!"

Fuck, it's Donny.

"Go away," I said taking my normal seat.

"Nah, I think I'm gonna sit right here. You know since us red shirts do as we please anyway."

"He was going to hurt her, even you guys don't like women abusers."

"Look at you, all tough. Is that freak out of your head." They busted out laughing.

The side doors opened as Amy walked in, thank god I didn't scare her away. She looked over at me, her bright brown eyes changed to sad. She knows what they are doing.

Great, now you are getting your ass saved by a girl. Don't you want to get out of here?

I grabbed my head pounding at it.

"Leave me alone! It was so quiet! Why did you come back."

Look up! You are making your head an easy target for them!

I looked up and saw them laughing their asses off, I looked back to where Amy was and she was gone.

Awe did you little girlfriend leave you all alone.

"Stop being an asshole!"

"You better be talking to that thing in your head," Donny said.

"Donny! This is not your lunch area, get away from Mark." Nick came rushing over.

Ugh this idiot, they are not scared of him.

Nick pulled out the baton and turned the zapper on.

"No, but they are scared of that!"

Donny and his friends ran to the other side of the lunchroom.

"Amy came and got me, she didn't want to make it worse by her coming over."

"Thanks."

I played with my fruit after he left, Damien left too.

"May I sit here?" I looked up and saw Amy.

"Sure."

"Thanks." She sat down with a try of cereal and some fruit. "You look better than yesterday, am I talking to Mark or Damien?"

"He is gone."

"Who is?"

"Damien."

"He can leave?"

"Yeah, that's why people think I'm crazy. They think I'm putting up an act."

"That's actually interesting. So there are three people in your head. The every day Mark, the Mark who is scared when Damien is around, then Damien. How come Emily didn't tell me that?"

"Emily? Please, None these people here give a rats ass about us, they just see us as an easy paycheck. And I'm not scared of him, I'm scared he will control me. He has done it once and it was horrible. Didn't you say yesterday that you can help me understand why he is doing this?"
