Amy's pov

I stayed with Mark for the whole time he was in SC, Nick tried to come in to hurt him but when he saw me he left.

"Why does he want to hurt me?" Mark asked softly as I helped him back to his room.

"Because he is evil, and he gets pleasure in other people's pain."

"That's why are you here, isn't it? You are helping to take him down."

I nodded my head yes as he sat on the bed.

"What is going to happen to us? When he is taken away."

"That is part of the plan I am having issues with; a lot of you guys will be re-looked at to see where you will go."

"We will not all be together?"

"No, not every place is designed like this one, where it can take in all of these patients."

"That's not good."

"It will be a life change but, some of the people here don't belong here. They are perfectly fine being in the outside world."

"Am I?"

"To be honest, I think you would do just fine in the outside world, as long as Damien stopped trying to take over your body."

"Good luck with that."

"I know."

"Amy, you need to go take care of your patient." Nick stormed into the room.

"Dawn is sleeping, and he just ate his lunch. I already checked on him." I looked at Nick.

"Did you write your report?"

"Yes, and it is sent in already, I also started the night report since he was giving extra medication without a doctor present. And it looked like the medication was signed off by you."

"I can give whatever I want." He growled.

"Then you can watch him and wait for him to wake up and explode."

"Dawn is your patient, not Mark."

"You should be saving patients and not hurting them."

"Don't act so innocent."

My heart stopped, please don't let Mark find out like this.

"Nice try, the only one here to blame is you. Now you can leave and go home to your family."

Nick stormed out of the room.

"What did he mean by you not acting so innocent?" Mark asked.

"We all have that period in our life when we were young and stupid. Are you okay?"

"He needs to leave me alone."

"He needs to leave a lot of people here alone." I sat on the bed next to him.

"There is something you're not telling me." He glared at me.

"I am not allowed to tell you. Once I am, you will be the first to know."

"Are you in danger?"

"No, but you are. It is the reason Nick wants to hurt you so bad. It's not to hurt you, it's to hurt me."

Mark wrapped his arms around me pulling me close.

"Everything is going to be okay Mark; the big bosses are watching every move Nick makes."

"How does Nick still have a job?"

"I have no idea, but we will find this out."

I stayed with him for a little longer then I had to leave to go check on Dawn.
