3: She has Become my Peace

Yoongi's POV:

I smiled as I sat in peace while she drew. It wasn't awkward in the slightest and we didn't know anything about each other, just that I wrote her notes daily and she came here for peace. Her long mint colored hair flowed out of her beanie and framed her face beautifully. Her piercing green eyes stayed concentrated to her book as she drew. Her piercings that scattered her face were beautifully placed.

I couldn't help but stare. Her presence erased any worries I had. If she knew I was part of a K-pop group she might think different of me. She may think I am selfish, but I'm only looking for someone that treats me like a normal individual. 

When I first started coming to the coffee shop, it was purely on accident. The shop was secluded and was never busy so I came for a coffee to just relax and that was when I saw her. I instantly wanted to know her and figure out the type of person she is. 

When it was time for her to leave, I helped her pack up her supplies while she just went along her business quietly smiling. "Thanks Yoongi. You're welcome to sit with me anytime"

I smiled back at her reaction. "Thank you. This has really allowed me to relax and find peace. Can I get your number by chance?"

A shocked expression filled her face before it was replaced with a smile. "Um, sure I don't mind." 

We quickly exchanged numbers and said our goodbyes, and with that I left and went to my dorm that I shared with the guys. The guys sat silently in the living room while watching TV. Namjoon was the first one to notice my presence. "Hyung where did you go?"

Before I could answer Tae cut me off. "You know he goes to the coffee shop daily to spy on that girl"

"Yah! I don't spy. I just leave her a note." A wave of laughs erupted from the guys.

"Yea cause you don't have the guts to speak to her." I instantly shot a glare at Tae as he spoke. 

"I actually spoke to her today and sat with her." I was so proud of myself for proving them wrong.

Tae gasped and held his hands to his chest. "Awe! Hyung is all grown up! He spoke to the girl of his dreams!" 

"Why don't you come here so I can slap you?" With my statement he quickly stood up from his seat and ran to his room and locked himself in there. I gladly walked over and stole his spot and joined the guys while they watched their show. 

"Yoongi, if you don't mind me asking, what is so different about her? Ever since you met her you've been happy and you didn't even talk to her until today." I looked over at the source of the voice and realized it was Jimin asking me this.

"She at first caught my eye with her appearance because it is so different compared to the others. I noticed her drawing the scenery around her so I drew her and wrote a note at the bottom and gave it to her friend who works at the shop to pass it along. She didn't say anything to me about the notes but it made her smile which was my goal for some reason. I started arriving at the shop a little before she did so I could leave a note on her table for her to see once she got there. She was so at ease at the shop and her smile was always genuine. When I spoke to her today, I knew it was worth the wait to build up the guts to walk up to her. She's looking for peace like I am. We're the same in that way."

Jimin just smiled at my little speech along with the other guys. "I'm happy she can make you smile more." Jimin always had a way with words. Meanwhile, there was no noise coming from Tae's room which concerned us to an extent. We didn't expect him to stay in his room yet he was probably expecting me to wait outside like I usually do. I just shrugged and decided to tie his door to mine which is across the hall and I went to bed and locked the door behind me. 

He tried to mess with me so he is still getting the consequences and the guys already said that I'm gonna be the one to release him in the morning since they know what happens when they cross me. I sat on my bed and looked over at my own sketchbook and smiled. Alex has helped me in ways I can't explain and she doesn't even know it. She has become my peace.
