She had learned to live with the injustices that the world had brought her already in the short time she'd been alive.

She'd learned to live with people stepping over her in order to get what they wanted at work. Promotions, pay rises etc.

She'd learned to live with the blatant sexism she encounter daily. The inappropriate looks and comments on her physical appearances as well as imagining what she could do in the sheets.

She'd learned to live with it all.

Journalism isn't something she ever thought of doing when she was younger. She wanted to be a Forensic Psychologist, working with the Serial Killers, trying to find out why. That was until she realised that there was a lot more to it than was shown on the movies. Forensic Psychology was all about treatment and reforming prison inmates, something she didn't believe was possible. Having already graduated from University and getting her Psychology degree, F/N decided to do something a little more controversial but a little more on the lines she wanted to do: Journalism on Serial Killers.
Her journal columns were a blast. Extremely popular amongst teenagers and adults alike, some would even go as far as to say the OAP's (Old Age Pensioners) in the nearest care home. Not only were they a hit across the countries, F/N really enjoyed writing them. Researching and informing people around the globe of the most infamous Serial Killers. Meeting them, face-to-face. Recording interviews, their mannerisms and their reactions to being confronted about their gruesome crimes. Make no mistake, it could be dangerous at times.

It was 10 years after the events which shook the small town of Haddonfield. Someone so evil, that their own psychiatrist didn't even believe they were human. It was this that peaked the females interest as she scanned previous journal articles from newspapers and magazines to get background on who was referred to as 'the Boogeyman'. Crime scene pictures, eyewitness results and even a statement from the main target, Laurie Strode, the perpetrators youngest sister.
It was this that made the woman reading articles and taking notes wonder about the perpetrators background. Naturally she looked deeper into it, calling libraries and Haddonfields own Sheriff Department to get answers. And she did. The perpetrator, at six years old, brutally murdered his sister Judith on Halloween night and was then admitted to a psychiatric facility where he became a patient of Dr Sam Loomis. It was then 15 years after the initial murder of Judith, that he broke free with the only goal in his mind - to kill his younger sister, Laurie Strode.

The female took a sip of her coffee which rested on a cup coaster just beside the scattered newspaper clippings and articles about the perp she was wishing to interview. She couldn't believe what she was reading, she knew people like this existed yet it still didn't make it seem believable. "How could someone, let alone a child, stab their oldest sister to death and show no remorse," she muttered to herself, rubbing her eyes. Scooping up all scattered newspaper articles, clippings and notes made, F/N placed them into a neat pile (more specifically 2 neat separate piles) onto her desk to come back to in the morning. It was late, too late to be making phone calls and arranging interviews with deranged killers. That could wait until morning, for when the woman was fully awake and ready to persuade people.

This was going to be her next pay check, the next killer she would be writing about and informing her readers and fan base of. The man that haunted Haddonfield 10 years earlier on Halloween 1978.

  Michael Myers.
