New Old Love

Chapter 1

Summer was here and just like any other holiday Joshua Matthews was spending it at his brother's.
Not just will he be able to see his brother and cousins but also Maya Hart.

Josh has known Maha since she was five and now she's sixteen.
The two of them have been through a lot without a lie.
Maya could always be honest with him as well as the other way around.

Both were excited knowing they will see each other this summer.
Maya is always at Riley's so he knew he would see her there.

"Sometimes I wonder why you come here," Cory Matthews said and he greeted his brother.
"Maybe because Mom and Dad live in Philadalphia," Josh said as he greeted both Cory and Topanga.
"Maybe because a certain girl lives here? And not Riley," Cory said then a boy of eight years old comes out.

"Uncle Josh!" Auggie said and ran to Josh.
"Mr Auggie," Josh said and rubbed Auggie's back when he hugged him.

Two girls then appear after Auggie.

"Ah the troublemaker back?" Riley asked.
"Hi Niece," Josh said and hugged Riley.

He then saw Maya smiling.

"What you smiling at Hart?" Josh asked and Maya laughed.
"Hi Josh," Maya said and gave Josh a hug.
"Hi. How are you Maya?" Josh asked.
"I'm good. Welcome back," Maya said.
"Thank you. Wow every time I see you, you get more gorgeous."
"Whoa!" Riley said as she threw her hands in the air.

"You can flirt another time," Riley said and Maya smiled while Josh was just surprised.
"Let's eat. Maya you're joining us," Topanga said.
"That will be great. Thanks Mrs Matthews," Maya said.

Everyone sat down and started chatting about their day.
Tonight was a lot different since Josh was there.
Everybody talked a lot easier and even Maya talked for a change.

Ever since Maya's father left her and her mother she's been broken and not much could change that.
But it seems every time when Josh comes to visit she would relax a bit.
It was miraculous when Josh came to his brother.
Like everyone forgot about their worries.

But Maya would always get teased about that as well.
Everyone including Josh knew she liked him but Josh just never saw it as something that will change how he sees her.
But since he left after Maya's sixteenth birthday he hasn't stopped thinking about Maya.
He had thought that it was just because her mother wasn't there or maybe just a worry but he realized it wasn't.
He actually knows why now and don't know what to do.
