Michelle gave her parents a hug, a very tight one that felt like a goodbye. Her mother in all her beauty tucked a strand of Michelle's flat-ironed hair behind her ear. "Please try to have fun."

"Mom, I'm gonna be fine."

"She knows. You know how your mother is." Michelle's father said as he hugged Michelle again. Michelle hugged her father wrapping her arms around his belly and resting her cheek on his shoulder.

"I'll see you guys in three days." Michelle said as she let go of her father. Michelle's father straightened his tux before turning to Michelle's mother.

"We love you." Michelle's mother said as she wiped her face, crying already.

"I love you too. Bye!" Michelle turned and started walking towards the bus dragging her large suitcase behind her. When she reached Opal she smiled and hugged the girl.

"Hey!"

"Hi!" Opal let go of Michelle and sighed, "I don't think I've ever been so nervous for a school trip."

"Same." Michelle admitted. As if on cue she saw James in all his glory. He was carrying a duffle bag and had his camera around his neck. The thing noticed first is a woman drove him here, which Michelle thought was unusual.

"Didn't know he liked older women." Opal said as they hugged and the woman went for a kiss. James dodged the move for the lips, leaving her lips on his cheek instead.

"She must pay well." Michelle said with a hint of disgust. James turned away from the woman and walked to the back of the line leading into the bus. He rubbed his head and blinked a couple times, hoping this high he was feeling would go away fast.

"Jam are you okay?" Elina asked as she shook James' arm.

"I'm fine." He hissed. Elina giggled and watched the woman James spent the night with.

"Was she too much for wittle Jamsey?" Elina asked pouting and making puppy eyes.

"No she just. Wanted to go all night." James said as he rubbed his temple.

"Well she must have liked it." Elina said with a snort.

"How would you know?" James asked as he looked up to Elina.

"Because here she comes with money."

"Here you are baby. Hope to see you again?" She cooed as she handed James a one-hundred dollar bill.

"Yeah sure."

"Excuse me. All parents must park over in the student parking lot." James' photography teacher Ms. V said. James' woman for the day frowned and shook her head.

"I'm not a parent." She hissed.

"My apologizes. If you aren't a parent or a student you need to leave the campus." Ms. V replied. The woman nodded and turned to James.

"See you later." James nodded slightly and watched the woman walk away.

"Glad you could make it." Ms. V said, noticing James embarrassment about the situation.

"Glad I could too." Ms. V acknowledged Elina before turning and walking back to the other chaperones. James sighed and pulled the collar of his shirt down. He perked up when he saw Elina waving, and when he followed her eyes he saw her. He had never regretted showing up with a woman more than when he made eye contact with Michelle. Michelle's smile faded after she stopped waving to Elina.

James was frozen under her brown eyed gaze. The way she was able to tear down his walls and see straight into his soul terrified James. Never had a woman made him feel so weak and never had he wanted to apologizing for showing up with another woman then in that moment.
