Chapter five:
Hyungwon had decided to head home, but he promised that he would hang out with the boys the next day. The male got quite emotional at the whole situation so he just needed to relax in his parent's home.
since Hyungwon came to visit, he had been staying at his parent's house. The chance of him staying there for a long period was pretty little. But still, he did not want to give up on Hoseok, but he also did not want to buy his own apartment. His studies in France came first. Well, he says that his studies came first, but yet, the male rushed back to Seoul right after hearing about the accident that occurred. Apparently, his feelings won over his own brain, which was stupid. so now, Hoseok and his studies shared the first place. Hyungwon would try his best to bring back the Hoseok he knew from the beginning. or, he would make Hoseok remember him and act as he did with him before. It's not like he isn't the way he usually is right now. the opposite, he's exactly the Hoseok he was when Hyungwon first met him; all flirty and smooth. But the difference is that the flirty male had absolutely no clue who Hyungwon was, and that hurt him deeply.
Hyungwon was currently lying on the sofa his family shared in the living room, obviously. But at that moment, the sofa was only his. The male had cuddled himself up with a big ice cream bar as he watched romantic movies, all alone. Pretty cliché, yes. But that's what hyungwon usually did if he ever fought with his 'boyfriend'. But this time was totally different. Be would only have ONE big ice cream bar, but this time he bought like, FOUR of the same flavour; vanilla ice cream.
The poor boy could not watch his movies in peace, instead, his mom came in and saw him lying on the brown sofa, looking all dead. She knew about his situation and she also saw the ice cream bar. Typical hyungwon she thought. Then she later went into the freezer just to get some frozen food that she was going to cook. But her 'cooking' did not even begin. The reason for that was that she found hyungwon's ice cream bars filling up on a section of the freezer. Her mouth gave a deep sigh and she loudly stomped over to the boy who was lifelessly lying on the couch, not moving a single body part, only his arms and hands. He was after all eating his ice cream.
"Chae hyungwon!"
Her unexpectedly loud voice almost made Hyungwon drop his ice cream, which made him slightly irritated. The male complained to his mother to stop with those random name calls. It was annoying.
"I do not care if I'm being annoying to your fatass."
Hyungwon was utterly surprised that his mother even knew such words. It did startle him, but it later went away. His mother calling him a fatass was an absolute shock, yes. But the male quickly stood up and began to argue with her. He got really offended.
"MOM?! where did you even learn such word? I bet you don't even know that it means!"
Hyungwon did not hesitate to talk back to his mother, even though he knew that it was not going to be a good idea. Last time he talked like this to his mother, hyungwon got thrown out of the house for one day. She would always tell him to go to a friend or something and be more social than just hide in his little hole, so called his room. Even though her mother meant well and wanted him to socialize more and step out of his comfort zone, so called his daydreams. Well, hyungwon did not think that way. He would always think that those kinds of punishments were the worst ones ever, but he did end up sleeping over at a friend's house. That would usually be at Changkyun's or Jooheon's. That was because he knew that they wouldn't be surprised that he came and they wouldn't ask any questions about it as minhyuk and Kihyun would.
That thought did not hit Hyungwon's mind as he was screaming like a bird towards his mom for calling him fatass.
"You dare talk back to me like that, Chae. I may not be as modern as you but I still know these basic words. Want to know how? YOU would always scream that word while talking on the phone with someone! yeah, yeah, I would always search it up! so I know what it means! and I'm calling YOU THAT RIGHT NOW!"
