PART THREE- His smile

Slowly as usual, Joshua Jones walked to Norday High like the day before. Again, he spotted Daniya.... But she wasn't alone this time. He looked over and to her right, there walked Park Jimin in a purple sweater and blue jeans. 

He felt a bit gay by looking at him since he was so good-looking, but nothing exactly changed his jealousy. "Uh..." He debated on saying hi or not, due to Daniya having such a private conversation at that moment. He decided just to keep moving. 

"Forget it," he thought again. "Hey Josh," she called out instead. "What happened yesterday? You didn't even say bye.... what's wrong with you?" He almost began to say "what's wrong with YOU", when he stopped himself before he could start. "You seemed to be in a deep conversation. I didn't wanna interrupt," he said with a tone of sarcasm. Daniya and Jimin looked at each other as Josh turned away and walked into the building.

"That rude," Jimin said. "Right? I don't know what's wrong with him. Josh can be.... Weird sometimes," Daniya said. Jimin nodded. "I can tell."

 First Bell:

"Dani let me borrow paper." "Tree?" Jimin shook his head. "You paper," he said pointing down at her work. "Check your work...?" She slightly squinted at him, but slid her paper towards him. He looked up at her. "Ok I got," he said to her, sliding back the paper. Daniya looked over at Josh who was in the middle of spacing out and/or doing his work. 

Gwen nudged him. "Is it Daniya?" She asked. Slightly, so Gwen wouldn't hear, he sighed, thinking about what had happened the day before. How she left him in all their classes together, how that new boy his arm around her, how she had asked him what his deal was. Jealousy stained his pure heart gray. "......." "Josh, is it Daniya?" 

"Yes," he said blurting out. "I mean, maybe." Gwen gasped. "It IS Daniya!" "Just... Forget it Gwen. It's not gonna happen," he whispered. He was calling off his Valentines Confession on a case of pouring rain in his mind. "Aw, why?" "Nothing." 

"I'm telling the girls that it's Daniya." "No. Keep it a secret. Don't tell. Besides. Nothing is gonna happen." "...If nothing is gonna happen, then why do you want to keep it a secret still?" Gwen Botin had a point. He might as well just straight tell Daniya "hey I used to like you but it's no big deal since you seem to be with Jimin." But no..... There still may be a chance.
