Zayn's POV

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and the air conditioner buzzing to life. I began to stretch until I felt a warm body next to me, clinging on to my hips with his arms wrapped tightly. I lay, silently admiring his tattoos.

"Everything I ever wanted, but nothing I'll ever need"

Just like Soph*a...he had always wanted a girlfriend but when will he realize it's me he needs, not her?

This tat was dedicated to the band, one arrow for each of us.

'Liam' in Hieroglyphics.

"Only time will tell..."

That was my favourite by far. Although that may change if he agrees to get matching tattoos with me. I was thinking about getting a tat with him, where each of us would have half a yin-yang on our finger or wrist. It was in simple font, nothing fancy but it was significant to me. Only in time will Liam realize I'm the one for him. Only time will tell when Liam and Soph*a split. Only time will tell...

I was just beginning to trace his tattoos when he woke up. I lay back down, pretending to still be asleep. He stretched loudly and groaned, cursing the sunlight. He sat propped on his arm for a while, I could feel him staring at me.

I felt a weight on my chest along with his scruff and buzzcut. He began tracing my sleeve of tattoos. I smiled slightly, my eyes still closed.

I wanted to stay here forever, pause this moment; it felt so right. I should tell him that I love him. My subconscious was talking in my head. I knew he didn't feel the same, but I had to get it off my chest and tell him that I loved him, so much it's hurting. I want to tell him how much I love his smile, his eyes, everything about him. I knew he didn't feel the same, but I didn't care, he needs to know and I need to say it.

Only time will tell...
