The Prophecy Of The Immortal Hybrid

Chapter 11

Jungkook woke up the next morning without Jimin. He opened the curtains, squinting from the sunlight hitting his eyes. He put on a shirt and went downstairs to make breakfast. Jimin already left for work which left Jungkook on his own for the rest of the day. Since Jimin wasn't here, it was the perfect time for him to think about what happened to Yuta.

While he ate breakfast, he got a text message from Namjoon. "I'll be dropping by at your mansion today. I'm bringing Got7 with me. We started tracking Jaehyun and Yuta, but we lost signal for the two of them. Hopefully we'll find him after getting closer to them." Namjoon typed before getting in his limo.

Jungkook chewed on his food as a way to calm his nerves as he replied. "Alright, see you soon." Within half and hour, he heard a loud knock on the door. Jungkook put his dishes in the sink as he rushed to greet Namjoon and Got7, the best group of hackers in his small alliance of hybrids.

Jackson and Jaebum were the hackers with the most experience. Jaebum, a leopard hybrid, was widely known as Defsoul, and is one of the most skilled hackers in the field. Jackson, a jaguar hybrid, came right after him, having his own organization of skilled hackers part of a label called Team Wang. They took the intiative in most situations that required things such as attacking and taking down firewalls.

Bambam and Yugyeom were the iconic duo that served as backup when Jackson and Jaebum were exhausted. Their skills weren't nearly as good as the first two, but they were still considered very good. They were both weaker hybrids with Bambam as another squirrel hybrid while Yugyeom was a bunny hybrid.

Youngjae, Mark and Jinyoung were the hackers on the side that would smooth out the path of codes by destroying a bit more while following the main path. The trio normally worked together at the same time. Mark was a raccoon hybrid, Youngjae was a otter hybrid and Jinyoung was a wolf hybrid. When it came to missions that required them to break into someone's headquarters, Jackson and Jaebum lead the way while Jinyoung would follow along, making sure that they didn't leave any traces.

Together, they were a very skilled group of hackers that came together after a certain mission. Jungkook eventually found all of them and offered for them to become allies. After they agreed, they ended up taking many missions that had to do with things Jungkook was involved in, good or bad.

Jungkook welcomed the eight men into his house. It was actually the second time he actually met Got7. Needless to say, he was pretty intimidated. After all, they were one of the best hackers in the world. It didn't matter that they formed an alliance. They could very well turn on him and destroy him if they wished to.

He smiled nervously at Got7, pouring a cup of sprite for each of them before handing Namjoon a cup of water. They all took a sip of their drink before Jackson and Jaebum both whipped out a large laptop that Jungkook didn't even realize they had. The two of them both waited quietly for the laptop to load properly.

After it was finished loading, Jaebum showed Jungkook a screen full of codes he didn't understand. Then, he switched to a screenshot containing two red dots. He pointed at the two of them before explaining. "These two dots represent Yuta and Jaehyun. Yuta's dot is a darker red and Jaehyun's is a brighter one."

Jaebum typed in something seemingly at the speed of light before showing Jungkook the current state. "Look at the screen. This screen is supposed to represent the headquarters where the two of them are being tracked. So far, Jaehyun's dot has disappeared mysteriously and Yuta has been in the same spot for a day already. I'm assuming he's been locked up after 'betraying' the organization."

Jungkook's eyes widened from Jaebum's explaination. "Do you have any idea where Jaehyun is? The entire point of this mission is to get Jaehyun out of there and hopefully disband the organization in the process." Jungkook asked, accidently rambling. "That's why we came to your house. We came in the hopes that we might get the signal to Jaehyun's tracker back. We hacked into the tracker Taeyong put on him." Jackson replied calmly, watching as Jungkook fidgeted.

"Jinyoung, can you help us devise a plan to save Yuta in case he actually got locked up and captured? Mark and Youngjae, continue helping us smooth out all the codes while Jinyoung strategizes. Bambam and Yugyeom, you two should continue to try and hack into the headquarters of Hybrids of Salvation." Jaebum ordered, putting his hand in the middle. They all joined in, raising it before yelling their catchphrase to hype each other up. "Come and get it! GOT7!"

Jungkook simply smiled at their enthusiasm. He chatted with Namjoon quietly on the couch, making sure to not disturb the working team of hybrids. Hours passed and it was already 5pm in the afternoon. After hearing everyone's stomachs growl, Jungkook went into the kitchen to make some food. Before he left, he made sure to have Namjoon promise that he wouldn't step in the kitchen.

Jungkook made seperate meals for all of them. After he was finished making them, he served each of them a plate one at a time. Of course, he made one for himself and Namjoon too. He watched as Youngjae's nose scrunched at the sight of cucumbers in his plate of food. "I'm allergic to cucumbers....."

Suddenly, Jaebum pushed his plate towards Youngjae and took Youngjae's plate instead, starting to eat it while working. "Isn't that your favourite dish?" Youngjae asked, guilty that Jaebum had to give up his favourite dish. "Yes, but we can't risk having to bring you to the hospital. Just eat mine, I don't mind." Jaebum replied, not even looking up from the screen.

Seeing the interaction, the guilt in Jungkook steadily grew. "You're allergic to cucumbers?" Jungkook asked quietly. "Yeah, I am. My allergic reactions are not pretty." Youngjae replied, eating Jaebum's dish of food. He decided to take a break after hours of coding. "Oh, I'm sorry. Next time, you should tell me if there's any diet problems. Jimin likes cucumbers, so I often end up making them for him."

"Aw, that's sweet. I hope you continue cooking for him. He probably loves it." Youngjae praised inbetween bites. Jungkook flushed in embarassment because of Youngjae's praising, causing Namjoon to chuckle. Youngjae and the rest of Got7 quickly gulped down their food, going back to their work shortly.

Jungkook heard the front door open as the room was filled with a sweet, vanilla scent. He sighed as he inhaled the sweet scent of his soulmate. He got up and went to greet Jimin at the doorstep, pecking him on the cheek. Jimin walked into the living room and yelped. "What are all these hybrids doing here?"
