I have to do it, I have to do it! I told myself over and over again. My family's lives depended on this! I will NOT loose them.
I made my way to the room I was looking for. The wooden floor groaned under my footsteps, frightening me that someone would hear and wake up. I could hear the wind blowing on the house, making strange noises that made the hair on my arms stand up.
I quietly slipped into my best friends room, where she was sleeping peacefully. Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen was playing softly from her phone. She said that listening to music always helped her sleep at night.
And because of what's been going on lately, I can see why getting help sleeping would be needed.
(Music) Nothing really matters... anyone can see...
I slipped out the long knife the Anonymous had given me as the song began to come to an end.
Nothing really matters...
I walked closer and closer to my sleeping friend.
Nothing really matters.. to me...
Without stopping to give myself a chance to protest, I slid my knife over her neck.
Anyway the wind blows..
The song came to an end, and so did my job. If only this nightmare, this hell, would end too.
I wiped my bloody knife off on her blanket and slipped out of her room, where she laid dead.
