The past few days, Nolan has usually been gone and people were dead or missing. Angelica thought maybe Nolan had some thing to do with this. I mean, maybe he was in a group of thugs...? There were so many things to expect. So when Angelica was "sleeping", she heard Nolan go down the stairs. Angelica immediately stopped him and questions where he was going.
"Uh, I'm just going to talk to Lou about something." Nolan said.
"Really?" Angelica questioned. "So can I come with you?"
"No..."
"Why not?"
Nolan finally snapped. "Because I said so!"
Angelica shrinked back and whimpered. She ran into her room and slammed the door. Nolan felt sorry, but not as much as she would. He grabbed his duffel bag and left for his killing spree.
Angelica crawled back in bed. Maybe he is innocent, she thought. Maybe I just angered by own brother... thinking that he is a killer. He would never ever want to hurt anyone! Teats pricked her eyes as she cried herself to sleep.
