"When will it be enough for you, Luke?" I ask, looking over at the blonde haired boy. Tears poured from his eyes and crashed onto the faded maroon carpet beneath his feet. The Heineken beer bottle in his hands dripped to match his eyes.

"Rayne you don't understand."

"No. I do. All you care about is yourself. That's how things have always been. You're a prideful bitch. When will it ever be enough for you Luke? You've lost everything. Your friends, your band, your family, everything!" I yell, my voice shakes as the words stumble off my tongue, burning like acid.

"I still have you." His ocean eyes stare at me, begging for me to agree.

"No, you don't. I haven't been yours for a long time Luke. You haven't loved me in a long time." I sigh, standing up. My eyes meet the illuminated exit sign across the room and I begin to leave.

"Rayne. Please..." Luke chokes out, crying harder. He rushes over to me, frantically grabbing my arm.

"You drank your life away. You ruined your career, broke hearts, and destroyed yourself. All for what? The party scene? Tell me, was it worth it? Was the crash worth the burn?"
