A new power

All Might's pov.

It was early in the morning at the beach when I heard yelling, when I looked I saw young  Mydoria with no shirt yelling at the top of his lungs. Raw emotion coming from his throat as he let it all out.

I saw him wobble and I buffed up to catch him, when I did he looked tired. He looked at me and said "Do I even deserve this? it kind of feels like cheating." I set him on his feet and showed him what he looked like before and  said, "There are times when you earn something because you worked for it and there are times when you earn something because your lucky, take that to heart young Midoriya." I pulled a hair off my head and held it out to him. "Eat this." he looked shocked so I had to take a different rout. "C'mon eat, eat, eat. you need to digest some of my DNA to inherit my quirk and the entrance exam waits for no man." after that he took the hair and ate it. I looked at him as he ran off to take his next big step to becoming a hero and smiled knowing I made the right choice.

Izuku's pov.

After I got home I showered and ate breakfast as fast as I could, then I ran out the door towards UA to take the entrance exam. On the way there some people stared at me confused as to what I could be doing, however I looked at the time and saw that I had twenty minuets to get there. I started to run and when I got there I paused to take it all in, I took a step and tripped. suddenly I felt weightless and heard a girls voice. "It would be bad luck if you fell, sorry I used my quirk on you without asking first, well see ya." she said as I stood and gravity returned to me once again. 'Oh my gosh I talked to a girl!' I thought while at the same time realized that I didn't actually talk to her, still, its an improvement.

I snapped back to reality when I saw people starring at me 'just because I have a quirk doesn't automatically make me a hero, ive only been given the right to stand at the starting line.'  I walked towards the building where it would all start for better or worse.

Time skip.

I was looking at the massive battle center when I saw the girl from earlier and I thought id go say thanks for catching me when I felt a hand on my shoulder, when I looked I saw it was the guy from back when Present mic was talking about the robots. "She appears to be focusing, do you wish to squander her focus and ruin her chances at getting in?" he asked. "N-n-no that's not what I was trying to do at all." I franticly said and entirely missed the doors being opened, "AND GOOO" Present mic shouted, when nobody moved he said "Hey, hey, your not gonna get a countdown in a real fight so get goin cuz the clock is ticking." I was still standing there when I realized that I needed to get going and get points.

After running for a bit I heard someone talk in my head, 'so this is where you fail huh partner?' I skidded to a halt when a one pointer appeared. I panicked cuz my legs didn't want to move, I was frozen in place when it was shot down by a laser. I looked and saw a boy standing there, arms behind his head and a belt with what looked like a concentrated mirror in the center, "We make a good team with you as a distraction, however I feel that we wont see each other anymore. good luck." and with that he shot himself off. 'was that his quirk? its definitely flashy but its only use would be surprise attacks like the one he just pulled.' I did not expect a response to my thoughts 'your absolutely right partner, that power is pretty useless in a confrontation.'  it was then that I recognized the voice to be the one from my dream, "Ddraig?" I hesitantly asked as I ran to find robots and get points.

Meanwhile...

In the monitor room the staff of UA were watching the examinees and complimenting them on certain qualities or skills they had but one had a special test in mind. He pressed a red button and said "Lets see how they react to this."

Back on the testing ground...

Nobody's pov.

Izuku made it to a clearing up ahead and found utter chaos, robots littered the ground while people destroyed any that got in there way "By the way you only have two minuets left!" Present Mic shouted, if anybody paid attention they would have seen Midoriya looking quite panicked. After a minuet of looking and failing to find and destroy a robot, the ground stated shaking, a giant metal hand crushed the corner of a house eight or nine (nobody knew nor cared because it was just so scary) targeting eyes gleamed at the testers. They did the next best thing, run the bloody hell away, Deku would have had he not been frozen in fear while  a certain engine quirk user ran by looking at Midoriya. A cry of pain reached One For All's current holders ears as he turned and saw the nice girl trapped under a slab of concrete, one look at the robot and he ran, not way no, that would ruin the plot going here. He ran toward it with the intent to save her.

When he was a few feet away he crouched down and put all his power in his legs and jumped for all he was worth, soon he was eye level (sort of, which eye do you look at anyways?) put One For All in his right arm and punched the zero pointer with all his might. Seconds later it exploded from head to foot only to realize he was in fact broken like dry spaghetti, landing would be near impossible without failing. As Deku was ready to punch the ground he was slapped across the face and he stopped falling and just floated there until the girl said "Release." fell and puked rainbows and sparkles. Midoriya tried to move, to get at least one point before time was called by Mic and he collapsed in exhaustion and pass out.
