"Alex" Edward called softly. "I'm sorry" he said, grieved; his look expressionless.

"We need to leave, nothing is left out here" he said, helping me to stand up.

As I stood up weeping, I took a quick glance at his face that now was as sad as he was guilty. "I'm so sorry" he said, his thumb softly rubbing my tears of my cheeks sending shivers across my body as my cheeks warm up.

"You need to leave now" he stopped. As my gaze followed him as he walked, he stopped and stepped back walking by my side.

He cleared his throat, "please, you are not safeــــ" he trailed off "ــــI won't let anything happen to you" he continued, gently with innocent look in his beautiful electric blue eyes. "You need to leave" he repeated himself, this time his jaw tightens; he grabbed my hand and walked.

"Where are we going?" I asked my voice low.

"You need to go home" he said, letting out a deep breathe.

"What home?" I grieved, remembering my dad, how I was so rude with him and how much I missed him. "Why do you care?"  I asked, forcing him to stop.

He stood looking at me blankly, "Excuse me! Why do I care?" his words come out little husky.

"Why are you saving me, and how will you get me back home?" I asked rudely, giving him a sharp look.

"Because, I need to safe youــــ" he looked down in hurt "ــــI couldn't safe your friends, but I should safe you" his face soften.

I didn’t know him but I felt so safe, he locked my gaze with his electric blue eyes. My heart was beating fast as I let myself get lost in his deep blue eyes. As he squeezed my hand hard, the look in his eyes was full of questions and clues that I didn't understand.

I feeling of disappointment ate me when his warm hand softly let go of mine, as the cold wind ran through my hand.

"Alex, this is the way you will follow to California, then you will have to find your way back home" he grieved, not meeting my gaze as I studied his eyes darken in sadness.

"Let's go." I grab his hands and pull him to the way but he forced a sudden stop.

"I can't go with you; you will be fine by yourself." He managed a charming smile.

"You won't come with me." I half whispered.

"No." he shorted the good bye part by fastening his steps away, I ran and grabbed his arm unconsciously.

Why did I do that?

"I won't leave without you" I confided, my cheeks warming up.

"Alex, it's getting dark you need to leave it's not safe at night" he said, his voice fearful, he hide his dark blue eyes from my sight.

"I won't leave without you" I insisted, pushing my hold back to force him faces me, but he took a quick gaze up the setting sun.

"It's already too late" he said, in a sharp sound, he grabbed my arm hardly and fastens his steps through the woods dragging me behind, his steps was much faster than my ability to run.

"Where are we going?" I asked, gathering my lake breath.

"I'm going to send you some where safe until tomorrow morning" he said, fastening his steps, squeezing my arm harder as he ran that it became painful.

"Edward! Let go, you are hurting me!" I yelled, in hurt, trying to slow him down forcing him to go as my other arm pushed his shoulder out.

He stopped and left my arm, "get inside" he commanded, his words came out angrily.

I took a deep look on the wooden cabin, it was well-build, hard wooden roof for hard rain but with air gaps walls allowing the cool wind in.  "Get inside!" he repeated this time harshly.

"I won't go without you" I insisted, my tears about to lose down.

He sharpens his look but quick lose it as my tears dropped. "Alexــــ" trailed off softly "ــــAlex, please get inside" he said, gently following his hands to touch me but stopped dropping his back down.

"I won't!" I cried. Suddenly he lifts me swiftly on his warm muscular hard shoulder with his arms as I was the lightest thing on earth. I felt hot as our body crashed together but the moment fainted by my flowing anger, "PUT ME DOWN!" I yelled, trying my best to push him off punching him on his muscular shoulder.

His grab tighten harder on my weak punches.

"You are very opinionated and annoying girl! You know that!" he fumed, angrily.

I tried hard to push him off but my pushes didn’t move him, not even an inch. "PUT ME DOWN!--PUT ME DOWN-RIGHT-NOW!" I cried out.

He ignored my shouts and pushes dragging me inside the cabin and putting me down. "Don't-move" he insisted, sharply pointing his finger. He stepped out and looked the door from outside. I ran towards the door but it was hard for me to reach from the light darkness.

"EDWARD!" I called loud. I let out anger breathe, "Please don't go. Don’t leave me here alone" I cried softly, but got no answer back.

"YOU JERK!" I fumed angrily.

I feel to my knee folding my laps up to meet my chest and started crying like a small lost child; he was so irresistible, arrogant, and feeless. How could he treat me like this?

I just wanted to go back home, being with my father and nothing of this would have ever happened. "I miss you Dad" I whispered, "I'm sorry" I stopped. "I'm so sorry" I said, my voice trembling as tears fell down my cheeks in rivers.
