"Mae wait up!" I'm too tired to look back, as I'm nearly half way there to the end of the field. I know it's not Kaydence, the person calling has a deeper voice.

I assume it's my brother, but why would my brother care. When has he ever cared. Just because me and him are 3 years apart doesn't mean our bond has to be apart too.

I'm greeted by a taller figure, I notice from the edge of my eye. But I'm still too furious to even care who it is.

"He...y" He tries to say with one breath but is warn out by the running he did to catch up to me. The familiar low husky voice startles me abit, reminding me of Kaydence.

I turn my head forgetting about my anger as I'm distracted by my curiosity.

Trent Malore. My brothers bestfriend, the senior that every girl is crazy about. The 'hard built jock'. Kaydences brother.

I examine his face, how his hair has natural curls that bounce when he walks. His caramel skin tone, and his clear skin. How his light brown eyes sparkle without sunlight. He looks nothing like Kaydence. Complete opposites, but they share the same built, toned body type. Trent looks bigger because of his height.

When I meet his eyes again, I realize I'm staring and I've stopped moving towards my destination.

He's a waste of time just like every other ex of mine. He'll just hurt me.

So I start to quicken my pace heading towards the tree. Changing my path to the right a bit avoiding the back gate of school.

I see his shadow moving closer as I'm now seated underneath the tree looking over the houses that run across the streets nearby. I try to look out the corner of my eye to see where his shadow is, I notice just in time to see his shadow imerging with the trees shadow.

The trees branches shake while leaves fly through the air and land solfty on the freshly cut grass.

"The overlook of the city looks better at my point of view." I turn my gaze to see him standing in the gap of the branches.

Our eyes lock for a few seconds before I look away.

"Is that so?" He giggles at my response. I look up and notice him smiling, causing a smile to spread across my face too.

"While why don't you come and check for yourself." My legs unbend causing the tight knots in my bones to crack. Wiping the back of my denim skirt heading towards the tree.

I attempt to climb up several times well he just stands up in the tree laughing his head off.

"You know it'll be nice of you to help." I say poshly as he continues to mock my accent.

"Well sure ma'dam. I will be a gentleman."

"Yes for once in your life." I roll my eyes, forgetting to use the accent. He hears the attitude in my tone and actually lends out his arm to pull me up.

"It's beautiful." I'm amazed, all the time I've spent at this corner I've never thought of climbing up the tree to enhance my view.

"Like you. You'd be more beautiful without clothes on though." He smirks while I playfully slap his arm.

"How many girls have you said that too?" I say trying not to laugh as his face reddens.

"How do you know?"

"C'mon like that's not the first time you've used that pick up line trying to sleep with someone."

"You know me too well princess. If your not like them, what do I got to do to get you in bed with me?"

"I'm not that hard to get." I lean in and un do his belt as his jaw drops. His body tenses in confusion and shock. "Or maybe I am hard to get." I tease as I do his belt up again.

"You cheeky bastard." We both laugh and then admire the view till he speaks again. "You know for someone who just got cheated on, your not really in pain." My eyes fastly shift towards his face that moved back to the view avoiding eye contact.

I forgot about it. Shit.

"I thought I'd be in pain too. I guess once it happens over and over you get used to it." I shrugged my shoulders looking back at the view while his face shifted back towards mine.

"I'm sorry about my broth-" I cut in stopping him from giving me pity.

"It's okay! Honestly, I'm tired of relationships, I'm just looking for someone to fuck whenever I feel like it." It slips out of my mouth before I can stop it. What? Better to lie than to recieve pity. I'll just schedule a full on crying, depressing music added session tonight.

He giggles at my reaction after I realize what I had just said.

"My bestfriends little sister isn't as innocent as she seems." He smirks as he leans in closer. I tilt my head making room for him to suck on my neck, forgetting that we're still in a tree.

My feet slid off the moist bark causing my body to follow too. I shut my eyes tightly prepared for the worst but was stopped by warm secure hands being tightly pressed against my soft cold wrists. He begins to lift me up then says.

"I should lift you up but you were going to give me head then stopped. So now I'm not sure what I should do." He uses his other hand to create the gesture of him thinking.

"TREENNTT!! Please, I'll do anything just don't let go of me." He smirks at the reply of 'anything'.

"Anything you say?" His face lightens up with hope. Crap. "You have to give me head whenever I ask you too."

I chuckle at his attempt to try to get me in bed with him.

"No. I will not!" I feel him slowly let go off my hand.

"FINNEE!" With that note, he helps me up.
