We arrive at the party 20 minutes later, 20 minutes that felt like hours because of how awkward we were. He's probably thinking the same thing, what are we? I'm not ready for a relationship just yet, but I like what we did.

We step out off the car and are already overwhelmed by the loudness of the music. We see people already leaving and out off their minds. I see smoke coming from the side of the house, probably from the backyard.

I turn around to see if Tyler followed and he wasn't behind neither at the car. So I enter by myself and am welcomed with all the basketball jocks.

I pass them and notice in the kitchen, my girlies. It's really not hard to notice. They both went all out with their sparkly short outfits.

I manage to catch up to them on the amount of shots they had been chugging. Oh, boy am I drunk! I'm wasted. I notice how fast words are spilling out of my mouth without hesitation. My vision becomes blurry for a few seconds before I notice 2 very shiny things moving away.

I get my ass which is glued to the marble table out off the kitchen but am stopped when I can't seem to place my right foot infront off the left. I feel myself slowly tilting forward.

Music that had been so loud, is slowly fading. People merge with other figures while my eyelids are falling. Before I get the chance to hit the white tiled floor, I'm pressed against a muscular daddy material chest.

TRENTS POV

"Yo, so we were about to hit it off till she stopped and said she has a boyfriend. Bro I was just in shock ay, I was going to-"

I try to stay afloat and focus my attention on Tate whose babbling about some chick he just met. But it's hard to focus when I notice her from across the room. Her eyes shimmering in the multicoloured lights running up and down her body while her hand reaches for another shot of hot tequila. She doesn't need anymore, she's already in a recked age. I wasn't planning on helping her till I saw her friends walk off. I excused myself from the conversation that was just about to end and headed straight towards her.

Managing to get there fast enough, to catch her before she hit the ground. I lift her legs up while holding her upper body with my left arm. Before I'm able to think of a solution I catch a glimpse off her soft, delicate lips. Her eyes slowly opening as our eyes meet. Her arm reaches to cup my clean shaved jaw, but is stopped when her eyes close again and her hand drops. I start to panick but am stopped when I notice her heavy breathing.

I walk up the stairs, heading towards Mason's guest room. When we enter, no one is to be found, gladly. I glance around the room and to my pleasure nothing has changed since last week when I slept over.

I let her down slowly, letting her take in the soft and warm comfort of the queen size matress. I debate whether or not I should stay, but being the only sober one out of the boys, I need to go and take care of them.

I lightly tip toe heading towards the door avoiding making irrelevant noise. I look back when I'm half way to the door to take one last glance at her. Before I get the chance to take in her beauty I am on top off the little coffee table. I look up just in time to notice the glass vase sliding over the edge, ending with an awakening sound hitting against the wooden floor. I don't look back now, embarrassed of my accident and rush to the door hoping it didn't awaken her.

"Tyler?" I hear her whisper, barely making it to my hearing range. Tyler? Seriously? I'm not that ugly.

"It's Trent." I don't look back, still focusing my eyesight on the couple in the corridor making out. I don't even want to look at her right now. I know it's dark in here, but it doesn't give her her an excuse to get me mixed up with a retard.

"Oh..." Oh? She could've at least tried to hide the disappointment in her voice. "Sor-" I cut her off.

"It's alright. Don't worry bout it. Get some rest." I reach for the door knob when I'm stopped by her soft, gentle voice.

"Stay." I look back to find her eyes are shut, and her hand patting against the empty side of the bed.

I want to stay. I would do anything to stay, but after her calling me Tyler brought out so much anger in me, I'm trying my best to hide. She was probably thinking about Tyler this whole time. Tylers better for her, unlike some douche like me. Even if it hurts to walk away from the best thing that's ever happened to me, it's the best thing that will happen to her.

Before I can reply, I hear her breathing getting louder. I feel the ends of my lips tug upwards as I slowly open the door and lock it, to stop idiots from taking advantage of her weak self right now. I slide the key under the door on the cold wooden floor, before I head towards the stairs.
