A/N: I'm a broke student, so I find them on safe websites or apps that are mostly free or have really cheap monthly subscriptions. These apps or website I recommend are not sponsored and this book is not monetised — all just personal advice.

✰  WEBSITES ✰  - ranked according to quality

1. Dafont.com
-Good for book cover or fan edit designing.
- Download a font file and open in PicsArt or Phonto. (More in the APPS book)
- These fonts are all free with almost 1000 + stylish ones fitting any tone or mood your art requires.
The ones you see in many graphics shop are ALL there.
- Downloads are unlimited, but they take time. It takes around 10 seconds for one, depends on your device connection.
- Do not require signing in / registering an account.
- Perfectly safe, no ads.

2. Cool Symbol.com
- Those in my profile (symbols and special texts) are all from there!
- Insert your desired text there and a list of good fonts appears below.
- You have to copy and paste the text with the font to where you need it.
- Around free 30 + fonts, e.g. bold, italics, ancient style, cursive, bubble, wide and curly etc.
- No account register needed. The page loads really quickly and is safe.

3. Lingo Jam.com
- Good for Instagram bio and captions.
- Similar to Cool Symbol.com.
- It has a narrower range of free fonts e.g 20 + fonts.
- Can't insert too much text if not it will lag.

✰ APPS   ✰ - ranked according to quality and functions

1. Phonto
- Basic fonts + cool fonts from Dafont.com - highly recommend!
- allows size, shadow, highlight, shape, tilt, etc (amazing)
- Really easy to use, perfect choice for beginners
- Can use any background, can add filters/photos/shapes
- Free, no need account register and AVAILABLE OFFLINE

2. PicsArt
- Basic fonts + cool fonts from Dafont.com  - for frequent use and intermediate + artists !
- allows size, shadow, blend, gradient colour fade (see pic below)
- More functions, depends on need
- More function explanation in APPS book
- Mostly Free, special effects require premium ($)
- Need Wi-fi connection and account register.

3. Canvas
- Basic fonts free
- Special, fancy fonts need $
- Allow size and italics
- For easy, basic posters/ minimal covers
- Need account register and online connection.

4. Adobe Spark Post
- Basic fonts are all free ( around 25 + )
- Allow size, shape and tilt
- Can draw on background picture
- Easy and quick to use
- Need Adobe account register and online connection
