Natsu is a prince who wishes to have adventure. Lucy is a orphan who wants to have a friend. Natsu runs away from the palace at the age of 10. He loses his memories and he meets Lucy in the woods, where her home is. She takes care of him, and they become great friends. Until Igneel searchs for Natsu, and he finds him when Natsu is 17. Igneel tells Natsu that Lucy had stole him when he was a child. Natsu, is sad but believes it. Igneel sends Lucy to the hanging. Lucy is sad that the lie was told, and she knew that nothing could change his mind. So on the day of the hanging, Lucy says, "You may not believe me, but I love you. And I will never let my love for you die."
And then pirates attack.
They kidnapped Lucy, and Natsu was heartbroken. Years later at age 21, the Fairy Tail pirates are the most wanted. But no one knows who the leader is. Natsu is king, and has never shown interest in finding a queen. He likes to be among the common people, and he hides his identity of course. He keeps catching glimpse of a blond haired women, and becomes fascinated with her. He follows her but always ends up losing her. Natsu learns that Fairy Tail was in the town, and trys to sneak on board to try and capture them. He gets knocked out once he trys to enter the captain's cabin. When he wakes up he is surrounded by the crew. Then he hears a voice.
"Well Well Well. The king trying to break into my ship, and to try and kill my crew. What made you wish to do this yourself? "
He replys with "Your crew kidnapped the woman I loved. And now she's gone, because of you."
The voice says, "We have only kidnapped once, and we had saved a woman from being hanged. Are you saying that you love this woman that was to be hanged?". Natsu says yes. Suddenly Lucy walked out of the crowd. Natsu is shocked she is alive. And asked what happened.
"I became captain after the old captain retired. My grandfather was the old captain." She says.
Natsu and Lucy begin to go on an adventure, but Natsu must return since he is king. Fairy Tail returns Natsu, and he asked for Lucy to become the queen. She denies saying that she will come back once I have found my next captain. Almost 5 years later, Lucy appears. She smiles and kisses Natu saying that she is ready. They get married and start a new adventure together. Erza is the new captain.
