By the time Cathy got home, Jetta had already finished her homework(by looking on Google). She was in the livingroom watching Orange Is the New Black.
" Whacha watching?" Cathy says as she takes the groceries out.
"Orange is the New Black" Jetta replies as she get up and help her mom with the groceries.
As they put the groceries away, Cathy's phone rang. At first she didn't hear it Because she was focusing on the groceries
"Mom. Answer the phone," Jetta says as it rings a second time.
"Okay sweetie. I was trying to put these groceries up first. Who's calling this late any--" she gets distracted when she doesn't See a familiar number. "Hello?"
"Uh-hi. Cathy? " a vaguely familiar voice says.
"Yes, this is her. "
"Good, this is John. John Daniels from the grocery store. I--"
"Oh hey. Let me guess, you called for ...... head shots right? "
"Yeah. That's me. When is the earliest you can schedule an appointment? "
"How about... let's see... this Saturday? Maybe around 5ish? Is that good for you?
"Perfect. See you then."
"Yes, Oh and the address is on the back of the card. "
"Have a wonderful night. " Mr. Daniels says before hanging up the phone.
Cathy starts dazing into her own little world. Fanticising about the hansom man.
"--Who was on the phone? " Jetta asks as she walk to her mom. Her mom jumps out of her daze.
"Whoa Jetta, you scared me. "
"Sorry. But Who was on the phone?"
"Someone. I met in the store-- "
" oohhh you found a guy?"
"Nice try sweetie But he just needs pics. I'm doing his head shots this Saturday. "
"Ohh. Can I come? "
"Noooo.. remember, you got that teen retreat. Cant miss that."
"Okay. Well I'm going to bed. Goodnight."
