Beep!beep!beep!beep! Jetta's alarm goes off. She's half woke this early in the morning. Barely being able to move, she hits the snooze button.
Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! It goes off five minutes later. She didn't move a muscle. It keeps going until Jetta's mom comes in.
"Jett! Wake up. Your alarm is going off." Cathy says as she shakes Jetta.
"Mmoomm five more minutesss," she mumbles out.
"Nooo you already did. I heard the alarm the first time. Anyways, you still have to finish packing. Y'all are leaving at 8am."
No response. Cathy walks out momentarily. Comes back....
" mom! what was that for?1" Jetta said, suddenly wet.
" i told you to get up, you didn't, sooo i sprayed you with cold water. now Imma need you to get up and get ready."
Jetta slowly got out of bed. Still dragging, she walked to the bathroom. brushed her teeth and washed her face. She then went to her room and finished packing her bag. by the time she finishes, its 7:30
"Jett come on! we have to be there by 8:30. you know the church people don't like to wait."
"Okay mom I'm coming. I cant find my unbrella and jacket, incase it rains."
"Your unbrella is by the door, and you can borrow one of my jackets."
"Okay, here I come''
They packed the car with a few bags and then took off. After about 45 minutes, they pulled up at the church. Just in time, they were packing the buses. jetta got her bags and ran to the first bus where her friends were. Cathy went to rebecca, the youth director, to check Jetta in. After that was done with, Jetta and Cathy did their handshake again. Then Cathy left.
