Monroe's P.O.V

We'd been here for three days now. In this time, we'd all paid a visit to the address where my father was supposed to be but there was nothing there. Everything had been cleared out as if they expected us to go. The whole building was empty. We searched for hours and found nothing. Noah and Kat slept in the same room last night but tensions are clearly still running high.

But me and Leo? We've been better than ever. After the other night everything just feels different, but in the best way possible. For the first time in a long time, I felt content. I felt like everything was perfect.

It was six in the morning and Leo was fast asleep. We were planning on leaving back home today seems though it was a dead end. My body had woke me up and a feeling instantly flooded my body. Fighting out of Leo's embrace, I sprinted into the bathroom and locked the door behind me, throwing up into the toilet. I heard Leo knocking on the door as I was throwing up. "Monroe? Amore, open the door. Let me help you.." he pleaded but I just sat there next to the toilet.

I sat there in silence, dread filling my body as I thought hard. That's when I realised.

I got up and freshened up before unlocking the door and walking straight past a worried Leo, pulling on some shoes. "Where are you going?" He asked as I picked up the car keys. "I'll be back soon, I'm just going out to get some..food."

I quickly left before he could ask anymore questions, greeted by Noah who was about to knock on the door. I walked past him in a hurry, feeling nauseous still. Stopping, I held onto the wall near the car as I felt slightly dizzy.

Suddenly, an arm wrapped round my waist and guided me round and into the passengers seat. Hopping into the drivers seat, Noah sat and looked at me with a serious expression. "There's clearly a reason why you ran away from Leo, telling me you are hiding something. Now where are you going in this state?" He asked, truly sounding like a concerned older brother.

I looked down at my lap, staying silent as he sighed before turning the engine on. "Where am I taking you?" He asked, making me look up at him slowly. "Walgreens." I muttered out before looking at the floor again.

Without questioning me, he drove to the Walgreens which was about five minutes away from the motel. He insisted on coming in with me. "You can't defend yourself in this state." He told me. I had no energy to argue with him so we just went it.

Wanting to get this over with, I rushed down the aisle I needed and picked up two of the boxes, earning a wide-eyed stare from Noah. I ignored him and paid, rushing back into the car. A minute later, Noah got in and sat there looking at me. "Oh, Tesoro..does Leo know?" I shook my head at him. "Can we go somewhere? I need to take these but I don't want to be near Leo when I do..."

Without hesitation, Noah revved the engine and we sped to the nearest cafe. An employee protested at us using the restrooms seems though we weren't customers but Noah sorted it out, threatening to cut the guys fingers off. So now I was in the tiny bathroom, staring at the timer on my phone to count down three minutes.

My mind was racing at this point. I was kind of excited about this, but I had no idea how Leo would react. What if he's mad? What is he leaves me? Or what if he forces me to get rid of it?

The buzzing of the timer broke my thoughts as I heard Noah talk from the other side of the door. "Monroe..Roe?? You okay?"

I looked down at the three tests that I took, all saying the exact same thing...

Pregnant.

I was in shock. I was actually pregnant. All morning it had just been a thought, an idea. But now it was real. I was having a baby. I was pregnant with Leo's baby. Opening the door, I stood staring at Noah as I simply nodded. He instantly pulled me into a hug, grinning widely. "Congrats, Roe. How do you feel?"

I don't think I knew to be honest. There were so many emotions flooding me. "I'm happy..but I'm fucking terrified.." I said, earning a reassuring squeeze on the shoulder. "If it makes you feel any better then I'm so happy! I'm gonna be an uncle! I never thought it would happen to be honest, so this makes it so much more special."

I couldn't help but smile at his reaction. At least I knew one of the Valentino men were happy. But I didn't know how Leo would react. Noah told me that we should head back to the motel seems though we were supposed to be leaving in ten minutes. So we did. We drove back to the motel talking about the baby. Well, it was mainly Noah fantasising about whether I'd have a boy or a girl.

When we pulled up, Leo instantly came storming over to the car. Noah got out first and ran up to Leo before he got near the car I was stepping out of. "Go easy, brother.." I heard Noah warn as Leo stood looking confused at me.

I knew there would be no way I'd be able to keep this from him any longer. I stood there thinking about the other night and how perfect it was, the feeling of his body on mine. I relished in the memory as I couldn't help but think this was going to be the end of us.

Kat came running over with the bags as Noah helped her carry them all. They both loaded the cars as Leo came over to me. "Where did you run off to? And why didn't you take me instead of Noah?"

I stood trying to think of what to say, glancing over to Noah who clearly saw me struggling. "Cars are packed. Let's get moving brother or we won't make it home before sundown!" Noah called as him and Kat got in their car. I quickly hopped into the passenger seat in Leo's car before he could ask anymore questions. But I knew we would be driving for hours alone. He was bound to ask at some point.

As we pulled onto the highway, Leo broke the silence as he bombarded me with questions. I sat and listened to minutes worth of questions flooding from his mouth, overwhelming me. I simply couldn't listen to it any longer, so I blurted it out.

"I'm pregnant!" I stated bluntly, putting an end to his questions.
