Chapter 45 Household Vessel and Hearts

Chaeyoung is in her assigned bedroom surrounded with 13 people, looking at her intently while the other one tends to her wounds and bruises.

After Chaeyoung explained to them what happened, Ashe seems to be in in trance, well actually all of the guild members are, they seem to be so troubled with it.

"Cut the suspense already!" Jeongyeon said, already annoyed.

Chungha sighed and looked at Ashe, completely ignoring Jeongyeon's comment, "This is bad."

Then Jiro hummed, "I see, that was a clever move from them."

"It's like we're playing chess and this sucks cause i hate that game." Hiro also said, just as annoyed as Jeongyeon is.

"Everyone, listen here carefully, there's this concept which I may of have forgotten to tell you about and it's the concept of a Vessel. A Household Vessel to be exact." Ashe starts.

"House..hold... Ve.. ssel.. Like this?.. What is it.." Momo muttered as she slowly moved her hand, Jeongyeon anticipated this and so before she can even form her hand in a circle, Jeongyeon slapped it.

Then Jeongyeon placed a hand on her shoulder, "Mo–stop. It'll hurt your brain, my friend."

"So what exactly is a household vessel?" Dahyun inquired.

"House Vessel is a form of membership towards a specific Vexir. It gives power to the powerless in exchange of loyalty, say for example Hiro is a Vexir a and Dahyun is a mere human, if Hiro decides to appoint Dahyun as one of his household vessel then through a sacred treasure, Dahyun will be able to use wind just like how Bambam can use and manipulate shadow which is a common characteristic of a Hunter." Ashe briefly explains.

"So that explains the necklace." Nayeon mumbled as she lightly scratched her cheek.

"Good thing you destroyed the vessel, Chae. Or else it would've been so troublesome." Tzuyu stated.

"I didn't know. I just observed how it turns black whenever the Bamban moves and attacks me." Chaeyoung shrugged and silently hissed as Mina gently dabbed the cotton on her temple.

"Keen." Chungha said.

"... By nature, as expected of an Oris." Jiro finished.

Sana sighed at this, for her, this is really a bad news, not only did he attacked Chaeyoung but he also targeted Mina and almost found their secret hideout which could've cause them great danger.

"Who do you think his Master Vessel is?" Yeunwoo, who's seated on Chaeyoung's mini-couch, cross legged, leaned forward and propped her elbows on her knee.

"Good question. There can only be three though, CL's not capable of initiating a household vessel." Hiro pointed out.

"CL? Why not?" Jihyo asked.

"She's infertile that's why." Dahyun choked on her chocomilkshake and Momo immediately went to her aid.

"She's–WHAT?!" Mina and the rest of them widened their eyes at this revelation.

"Yeah, she can't bear a child." Chungha said.

"I–Ah–uhmm.. That's.." Nayeon didn't have the words. The more you know, she guess.

"Anyhow, Chaeyoung we're glad you're okay. Please rest now and leave the rest to us. Jihyo, Nayeon and Mina please come with us in the meeting room. We have something to discuss regarding thw training schedule and we would also like to ask for your help in tracking down its Master Vessel." Ashe ordered and with that, the Guild Members made their way out after bidding Chaeyoung their goodbyes.
