..........................

I ran and ran until my legs couldn't take me any further and I collapsed into a ball crying myself to sleep on the hard ground.

I woke to the sound of birds and the blinding sun when I tried to open my eyes. Ugh what happened? Where am I? Then all the memories came back and I wanted to cry again but I wouldn't allow myself so I forced the tears back and opened my eyes properly. They slowly adjusted to the early morning night. I gasped. I was in the clearing in my dreams, the one I painted on my wall. I couldn't believe my eyes, I looked down and saw that I was, for once, human and standing in the clearing.

I was suddenly curious about this place so I decided to check the river out. I walked over to it and used my hand to cup some water so I could drink. It tasted so good, it would be the freshest water I have ever had and I loved it. I stared at the water for a while and I noticed something moving I moved back quickly and fell over a rock and onto my ass. Well that hurt. I slowly got up and then laughed, it was just fish harmless little fish. I turned around and screamed as I was tacked down by something big, black and hairy. "Ahhh dont kill me!!!" eww its licking me...wait what? I look up to see no other than my best friend Ringo "Oh my gosh Ringo you scared me" I said to my dog who was now sitting loyally at my side. I gave him a pat and smiled. "I knew you would always be here for me. Your all I need" I looked around and frowned I had no idea where I was. I got up and look down at Ringo "take us home smarty pants" and I pointed off into a random direction.

Ringo got up and trotted off into the opposite direction at a pace I could follow. Damn my dog is awesome "good boy"

On the way out of this huge forest I found some berries that looked delicious but I knew better than to eat them as they were poisonous. Lucky I did that extra credit assignment on wilderness and its plants. I used to hate that thing.

When I get home no one is there so I just go up to my room and fall asleep again. My last thought being about how I'm starting to sleep a lot.

"Sky. Sky!" I open my eyes groggily to see my adopted mother staring at me. "Hmm?" I moan not fully awake yet. "Where have you been!" My mum all but screams at me "I'm sorry but I needed time to think about everything" she looks at me and nods understanding. "Do you hate us?" I look up at her and smile. Even though she's not my real mum and didn't tell me until yesterday I don't hate her because I understand how hard it must have been to tell me "no mum I don't, its okay" she smiles then suddenly looks nervous "just spit it out mum" I tell her while slightly laughing "we'll um me and your uhhh farther was wondering if you would learn how to fight like the hunters" I look up at her in shock. I still don't believe them about the hunters but the learning how to fight part sounds okay "sure" I say and give her a small smile
