Fire. Screaming. Dead bodies scattered.

"I was flying higher and higher until I saw the whole world and the things in it. The world was burning and everything was in chaos. The Chronos Tower in the center of Amredith City was in ruins and the sky was slowly being consumed by a darkness.

The darkness devoured everything slowly, as if it was savoring the loss of things. The people began disappearing, the same with the trees, the houses, the meadows, and all of the things in the world. When the last thing with light was about to be consumed by the darkness, I heard a laughter. An evil triumphant laughter ringed in my ears and it spoke. It said, "I am awake and alive now but fear me for I have gotten twice stronger than my last reign and none shall find my dwelling for I live in every heart..."

I cringed and tried to cover my ears but nothing changed, and somehow the laughter became even louder. As the speck of light was gone, I sat in the darkness. When I looked at my hands... I was being consumed by it too! And the worst part is... the worst part is knowing that you can't do anything.

That you're worthless! This dream filled me with dread unlike any other foredream I have ever dreamt, mom", I choked before covering my face in my hands.

"Hush my dear Faye", my mom said while wrapping me around her arms, "Foredreams are still unstable in your early age and they may reveal either of the past, the present, or the future. For all you may know, you may have dreamt something that happened in the age of our earliest anscestors."

I couldn't stop it now. I couldn't stop the tears that were falling on the ground. Trembling slightly, I lay down on my bed and sighed, releasing some of the fear I was unconsciously holding. It felt so real.

My mom stroked my forehead softly before kissing it.

"Would you like to rest now, dear?" she said, at the same time standing up.

"Mom! Don't leave me, please.." I said sitting up immediately while gently tugging on her hand.

"Ok, dear... I'll be right by your side, don't you worry." she said while gently putting me down on my bed. As soon as my head touched the pillow, I was asleep.

 ---------

I woke up to see my mother gone. Of course! I mentally slapped myself for not remembering that she was needed before dawn for some queenly affairs to attend to with my dad, the king.

I sat up, contented not to do anything yet but listen to the chirping of the birds on my windowsill. The curtains were already drawn to let the sunshine in.

A knock sounded on the door.

"Come in.", I said.

"Princess, your breakfast is ready downstairs."

"Oh yes... Thank you.", I said absent-mindedly.

A few moments elasped with us on the same figure; me, staring out of the window with my back to the door and the maid's head slightly bowed.

"Oh! You may go now, Anne", I said once I was out of my reverie.

Anne bowed low before leaving the room.

Time to get ready then.

Well? What do you guys think so far? Ugly, ok, pretty? I honestly don't know if I was to judge.

You could also read my other story entitled 'Fire and Ice'. A werewolf story that I have no thought yet as to finishing/even continuing it. Seems people aren't that interested so... I dunno.
