"Mary Olives?" tanong ni Kuya CL. Kuya Cl was the school's 'Editor-in-Chief'. He's on his third year pero qualified na siya agad for his position, he deserves it, no questions given. He always brought the school's name on top in every journalism and writing contests. I am a huge fan of him.
"Yes, Kuya?" Kuya CL is a good man. Hindi niya sinasarili ang kanyang mga nagawa na kapuri-puri, he always include us - the staff in everything that's worth to be commended.
"You'll be covering the Badminton Boys and the Basketball Boys also for this year's Intramurals, it is scheduled tomorrow. You'll go together with Krystal as your photographer." He informed me as I jot down notes.
"Copy."
We're on a special meeting together with the other staffs for the school publication, and Kuya CL was distributing different assignments for us. As the Feature and News Editor, English I'm quite challenged for a sport-ish type of article. It isn't my forte tho. *sighs*
"We've got a challenging article to cover, Eve." Krystal said after the meeting and as I picked up my stuffs for my next subject.
"Well, Kuya CL got his deadlines up, so do us, kaya kailangan talaga ang todo-effort." I winked.

Im late. Who wouldn't be? If you've stayed all night doing reports, rewriting the Student Council Meetings Minute's and answering assignments and doing school requirements? We're doomed.
"OW! Watch where you're headin' Miss."
Uh-oh mukhang may nakagalitan pa ako. I raised my head to see whom I unfortunately bumped into. Nice, see how unlucky Ms. Mary Olives Maltecir could be, nabunggo ko lang naman ang short-tempered, multi-awarded athlete of this institution - Mr. John Rydle Revereal.
"Im sorry, nagmamadali kasi ako, may hinahabol pa akong Badminton game to cover." I apologized.
Wait, why am I even explaining? I should get going. I walked past him, but after two large strides I made, he grabbed me by the arm.
"I see, but you're actually heading the wrong way Miss. I'm also on my way for a Badminton game."
Tama bang sumunod ako sa kanya? No questions asked, No answers given. He just pulled me by the hand habang tinatahak naming ang daan papunta sa venue kung saan ang game. Let it slip for a moment Eve, it'll be fine.
"Anong laro ang ico-cover mo?" he asked. Hindi niya paring binibitawan ang kamay ko.
"Badminton Boys, doubles and singles as well as the Basketball Boys, sana nga makaabot pa ako, I'm kinda late don't you think?." He chuckled a bit at my response, I gave him a skeptical look and he released my hand.
"You're lucky enough, they're still waiting for me, that means you'll definitely have your complete live coverage, Miss - "
"Maltecir, Mary Olives Maltecir."
"You're Imogen's little sister?" I nodded as a response. How did he know?
"Cool. Never thought of having the 'Beast Pianist's little sister covering my game. You're also part of the Student Council am I right?" I nodded. He actually knows something about my sister, Unbelievable.

"Congratulations everyone! We did it! We beat the deadline! I owe you all bunches of thanks! Let's celebrate, my treat!" Kuya CL announced.
We actually did it a day before the deadline, hindi naming inexpect na magagawa namin, but we actually did it, we really deserve such appreciation and reward. Finally, the break! Tapos na ang lahat! No deadlines writing our fate. No more sleepless nights, revising, editing, and correcting. No more coffee-filled brain and stomach during mornings. It's all over. Plus the fact na I'm worse at managing my time. My weakness - Time Management.

Congratulations Sissy! You're really
a great writer/journalist! Fighting!
I missed you and love you tons!<3
I smiled with my sister's text message. Masuwerte talaga ako sa Ate ko. She always had her ways knowing my whereabouts and my achievements.

I love you more *kissesss XOXO.
"Congrats sa'tin Eve! We've got a great cover with those games! Finally, you've managed to write about Sports! I'm proud of you! Yiee!" si Krystal, pagkatapos ay yinakap niya ako.
"Well, thanks to you also, my articles weren't amazing without your shots. What could I say? I've got the best photographer on my side." I hugged her back at kumalas din naman ako pagkuwan.
"Sus. We're a 'Great Tandem' even Kuya CL agrees, by the way, you should thank Mr. Revereal, for your complete live coverage. Never thought he's like that" she grinned.
"Like what?" I asked.
"Like he's nice, it's very unusual of him. He even gave us seats! A Revereal offered us seats, front seats Eve. " she explained.
"Oo nga 'no. I should say thanks."
"You should. He's outside." Tumingin ako sa labas at nandun nga siya.
"Wait for me ok?"
"Yeah. Sure."
"Mr Revereal!" I called, and he turned to me, he look as if he's been upset, but his reaction softened as he sees me. Am I imagining things?
"Oh, hey there Mary Olives."
"I just want to thank you, for accommodating us on our coverage during your game." I explained.
"Oh, welcome. Gotta go." Guess the rumors were true. Mr Revereal as short-tempered? I sighed.
I told Krystal about our conversation, she just laughed.
"Atleast we said thank you." She pointed out, while drying invisible tears of laughter.
