Undyne's Crush

Hey guys I'm back. I'm going to be trying to upload a new chapter every day, but I might not be able to some days. Anyway, hope you enjoy this new chapter.

(Fresh PoV)

I groaned as my alarm rung out. BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! I turned it off and rolled over. How was it only the second day of school. So much had happened on the first day and I never even managed to get to my classes. I prayed for a less eventful day today, however my gut was telling me it would somehow get worse.

After eventually getting up and ready for school, I made myself some toast as I remembered I had forgotten to eat anything yesterday. Despite the anxious feelings clouding my mind I was actually feeling quite positive. This was rare, so I decided I would go with it and have the best day possible. I contemplated taking my skateboard to school, but after further thinking decided it would be best not to push my body with the injuries I had sustained from yesterday. Instead I decided to take a leisurely walk to school.

That was until I saw the 'weird guy'. I just didn't trust this person. It wasn't that I thought he was a bad person, I actually thought he was nicer than everyone said. But, deep down I just got this feeling that nothing good would ever come out of being his friend. Or more~. WAIT WHAT! No. Bad thoughts. I should just leave him alone and he'll hopefully leave me alone. Lost in my own thoughts I didn't notice that he had approached me. When I came out of my trance I notice his head was way too close to me and blushed at the close proximity. He seemed to realize as he pulled away and I thought I saw a light blush on his face. It was really cute. NO. What is wrong with me today? Am I sick or something? The 'weird guy' then turned back to me and said "Hey, I never got your name." I blushed slightly as I replied "Fresh." The he said something that made my blush ten times worse. He whispered in my ear "Cute name~ By the way my names PaperJam, but you can call me PJ, cutie." I felt his breath along my neck and I must have looked like a blueberry.

I didn't know how to respond so I just waved "Well nice to meet you, see you at school" as I raced off. He chuckled a bit at my hasty escape but smiled. 'His smile was gorgeous. 'AHH, I need to stop thinking like this.' I thought as the school came into view. I noticed the yellow lizard girl I had rescued yesterday taking to two guys. I decided to go say hello and introduce myself

I came up behind the lizard girl and said hello. The girl looked scared and fell to the ground. The other two chuckled at her reaction as I apologized and offered her a hand up. Grateful, she took the offered hand and then her eyes went wide as she exclaimed "You're that guy from yesterday." I chuckled nervously as I said "Yeah, I am." She looked a bit sad as she nervously responded "I-I heard s-someone g-got injured r-really bad y-yesterday. W-was i-it you." She looked like she was gonna burst into tears as I grumbled "Yeah, but I'm okay now." A tear drifted down her face as she said "I'm s-s-so s-sorry th-" I cut her off as I told her "It wasn't your fault. If anyone's it was the bullies." She gave me a big hug and I turned my head as I felt someone glaring at me. It was the fish girl. She looked really angry. Then it clicked, she looked sad while almost beating up this girl and grateful when I  saved her. And now, she was angry I was hugging her. She had a crush on this little nerd girl.

One of the people who had been with this girl then introduced themselves as Papyrus. The lizard girl extracted herself from our hug as she introduced herself as Alphys. Finally the ghost-like being introduced himself as Napstablook, but he preferred us calling him Blooky. I said "Nice to meet you all, I'm Fresh." Shortly after introduction, the warning bell sounded and we made our way to class. Alphys and I both had French next so walked over there together, whereas Papyrus and Blooky had Science next.

French was rather boring, however I did notice that PJ was in my class so I prayed he wouldn't notice me sat in the back of the class. He did notice me and then gave me a smirk forcing a blush to stain my cheeks. Luckily, Alphys didn't notice me blushing next to her. I had to ask Alphys something, I knew the fish girl liked her but did Alphys like her back. I gently bumped Alphys' side getting her attention and whispered "What's that blue fish girls name?" Whilst pointing at her. Alphys had a slight blush on her cheeks as she quietly responded "Undyne why?" I whispered back to her "Do you like her?" Alphys didn't respond to my question, but the bright blush on her face made it clear she did. I now had a new ship, and I was determined for my ship to sail. Unfortunately, I looked back to see both Undyne and Pj staring at me with angry faces. I am pretty sure they misinterpreted my action. I mean if I whisper into her ear and she starts blushing it looks pretty bad. I looked to Pj again but his intense stare just made me feel a blush creeping onto my face. He relaxed a bit when I blushed at him. Then it hit me 'Does he like me?!' I screamed into my mind. I managed to calm my thoughts as I remembered he's a jock, I'm a nerd. It could never work.

When it was time for next lesson me and Alphys both trudged regretfully towards 'pointless exercise', known to others as PE. It wasn't as though I hated PE I was surprisingly good at it. Well it wasn't surprising if you knew my past. It brought back a lot of unwanted memories.

Well another episode done. I just realized  made a whole chapter in Fresh's PoV. Prepare yourselves for flashbacks into Fresh's childhood life in the next episode, which will hopefully be published tomorrow.
