Thankfully, I had gotten out of the car before anyone could have seen me with Pj. It would have only caused trouble; Pj's reputation would have undoubtedly been affected and I would probably manage to gain an extra beating or two from the school Bullies. I was walking up to Alphys, Papyrus and Blooky when I overheard their conversation. Papyrus stated "What do you think about ______ and ___ being friends." Without hesitation, Blooky replied "Well Jocks and Nerds shouldn't even talk, let alone be friends." Alphys looked a bit more saddened by their topic of conversation, but said "It never ends well, for either side really, but nerds in particular."

I stepped forwards and they finally noticed I was standing there. To my dismay, they all stared at me as Alphys asked "Nerds and Jocks shouldn't be friends should they?" She looked more like she was asking if she could be friend with a jock and wanted reassurance. I quickly stated "No, I think if they want to be friends they should be friends, but we keep separating them from us like they're another species. It shouldn't matter if your a nerd or a jock." Papyrus challenged back "They are different from us. They should be treated differently." I was taking deep breaths to calm myself down when I shot back "So, it's okay for them to bully us just because we're nerds?" Papyrus and Blooky looked like they were going to interrupt when I continued "We should be equal, this means we have to stop building a wall between nerds and jocks. They hate us because they were taught we were different from them, when some of us can do the exact same stuff they can do and we hate all jocks because of the actions of a few." I looked around nervously and saw people had crowded around and I felt a cold sweat form on my back before everything faded to black.

I woke up in a white room, a goat-like lady was peering over me as my eyes fluttered open. I was shocked at the sight until the ladies face softened and she explained "Oh, you're awake, you fainted in the hall. This is the schools nurse office, if you don't already know and I'm nurse Toriel." I relaxed at her gentle soothing voice and politely spoke "H-hi nice to meet you, I'm Fresh." Then I realized that I might have missed my classes and quickly questioned her "Oh wait what time is it?!" She chuckled at my reaction and answered "It's okay, it's almost four period but your attendance won't be harmed, it's classed as a medical emergency. " We talked for a short while, until the bell sounded. As I was leaving I thanked her and headed to class.

Fourth period was PE and I groaned at the thought. It's been years and I was still traumatized by my father's abusive teaching methods. I reached PE and headed straight to the changing rooms like Error had ordered everyone to do. Once I reached them I panicked a bit as I realized all the cubicles were full. I cursed myself for not hurrying to class sooner like I usually did. Now, I was left with two options change in front of people and risk my scars being seen or attempt to convince Error I couldn't take part today. Error looked extra mad today so it wasn't that great an option. Despite that I decided option two was the better choice and nervously stumbled out to coach Error. Nervously I lied "Hey C-couch Error I-I'm still.... erm... still feeeling dizzy from fainting earlier c-can I s-sit out?" He looked upset, then angry, but then determined. 'Oh no, did he see through my lies' I thought while twiddling my thumbs. He strongly replied "I need you in the game today, suck it up, we're versing RedCross today. We lost last year in the dodge ball tournament, but this year we have you, so go change." All the time while saying that he was gently pushing me towards the changing rooms, leaving me forced to change and hope no one saw.

I went into the changing room and put my bag next to Pj's. He smirked and stared at me until I gave him a look that warned him turn away or I will break your skull. Surrendering, he turned around and mockingly raised his hands in the air. I made sure to keep a close watch on him while changing so he wouldn't peak and see my injuries. He didn't and no one else really payed me any attention, so I was safe. Once I finished I tapped Pj's shoulder and he turned around. We were the last ones in there so we walked out together, which apparently meant that everyone had to stare at us. Once everyone settled down and returned their attention to Coach Error as he gave a long boring speech about commitment and teamwork.

Once Coach Errors boring speech was over the jocks began cheering and actually looked inspired. On the other hand, the nerds like me looked tired and bored. We all stood as coach Error began to separate us into two groups: the ones playing the game and the ones in the bleachers. It was an obvious Jock and Nerd separation. Alphys was on the bleachers and Undyne and Pj were stood on the court. It went like that till he got to me and told me to go to the court. I was shocked but stumbled over to the court anyway. Pj grinned at me clearly excited, whereas some other Jocks sneered and laughed.

When the opposing team waltzed in, they looked confident, and then I realized I knew them. They were a former school of mine, fortunately I never played sports there so they just assumed I was bad at it. The captain, an old bully, glared at me as he noticed me on the court. He sneered and said "Wow, this school must be really athletically challenged if they had to recruit a nerd to join there team. Particularly Fresh." My team looked a bit confused until the captain explained "Fresh was a former student of RedCross. Can't believe you'd let him on your team." Pj looked pissed and glared at the team. Some of them gulped and looked intimidated. When it was almost time for the game to start I watched the captains eyes. He used different eye signals to point to who they were going to attack first. I watched him pick a smaller jock in the back. I whispered to Pj "That kid there is their first target." Pj looked at me in disbelief and ignored my comment. Sure enough that kid was first out. Pj looked at me a little shocked and asked "Who is there next target." I watched him pick undyne and quickly warned him "Undyne". He shot me a grateful look and warned Undyne. When Undyne was prepared she stopped attacking and started defending.

Undyne managed to stay in and he was forced to move to another target. He scanned the room and finally noticed that I knew his 'looks'. (It's really weird to type that) Then he choose me as his next target. Pj whispered to me "Who's next?" I was nervous and responded "Me." Pj quickly reassured me "It's okay, you can do it." His words comforted me and I felt a lot less anxious. Now I just had to beat my old bully/captain of dodge-ball at a game of dodge-ball.

Hey there! This is only part one, but part two will be out soon. Have a fantastic night/day.
