Y/N's POV

I am now at the cafeteria with Jungkook, waiting for Haneul.

"Are you sure you're alright now? How is your hand?" Jungkook asked in pure concern with his creased forehead.

"I told you, I'm fine. I had worse." I said, trying to brush it off. "In fact, the pain only lasted for 5 minutes. Guess my mate had a quickie." I joked half-heartedly.

"How can you make a joke about something that is causing you pain?!" Jungkook said, who is looking at me like I'm the most ridiculous person in the world. Well if I still can't do anything about my constant pain and just accept it as it is, I might consider myself as one.

As if on cue, we heard Haneul's voice.

"We are not yet halfway through the day and you two are already fighting." She said in an amused tone, while making her way to take her seat next to Jungkook.

"What's up?" She asked in a voice where she's looking for something interesting.

"You see, Y/N felt pain on her left hand and she keeps insisting that she's okay and even made a joke about it but the pain clearly looks intense!" Jungkook said in a voice of exasperation mixed with concern. Haneul just stared at my hand.

"Seeing that your hand is not bruised, I guess the pain didn't last long?" Haneul asked, pointing at my left hand.

"Yeah, good thing it's the hand only. Means maybe he's just holding someone else's hand, otherwise some parts of my body would've been in pain too." I explained, sipping on my strawberry milk.

"So, don't worry Jungkook. I'm quite positive it wasn't a quickie." I told him with a wink while taking a bite on my sandwich.

"See?!" Jungkook said while flailing his right arm in exasperation still. "She's still making it as a joke."

Haneul laughed, amused about her mate's frustration while she looked at me and I just gave her a cool shrug indicating that what happened a while ago didn't bother me emotionally at all.

"Let her be, babe. She has her own way of coping up." Haneul said to his frustrated mate, which I just gave her a light chuckle and a middle finger to what she said.

"Do you still have classes together?" Haneul asked me, referring to Jungkook and I.

"Yeah, we have the same classes for the whole day." Jungkook answered, mood okay now.

"Aww, I wish I could have the same classes as you too." Haneul said in a pout.

I'm just watching their cringey interaction in front of me. Keeping a straight face.

"You could have the same classes with us, if you weren't a Bio major." I remarked.

"You know I'm not good at Arts, unlike you two. So there's nothing much I can do about it." She said, still in a pout.

"Well, we are shit in Bio too so..." Jungkook said while putting his arm on Haneul's shoulder.

"Fair enough, right?" I said with a light laugh while looking at Haneul.

"True." She said with a laugh as well, remembering how shitty we are in any field of Science.

We then ate the rest of our food before we head to our next class.

Jungkook and I are already heading to our next class, and I can see Jungkook getting busy with his phone.

"Dude, come on. You'll still see Haneul later, stop texting her." I said in a joking manner, but somehow meant it as well.
