"Y/n!" Mason shouted at her running towards her through the street.

"Macey!" She opened her arms for his embrace and he jumped into her arms. She gripped him and placed a hand on the back on his head as she buried her face into his neck.

"Are you okay? Those fuckers took the boys. Are you hurt?" Mason asked her curiously. She shook her head and pulled her head up to look at him.

"Luckily I sneaked out, I took the money with me incase I needed to use it to get to boys. My phone had died and so I went to the casino but they said you had left, so I asked to charge my phone there for a bit and thats when you called me." He explained what happened when she was gone.

"Do you know who they are?" He asked her and a ball formed in her throat.

"It's my family." Y/n mumbled as Mason processed it in his head.

"What do they want?" He asked.

"They want me. I refused and kicked my pussy ass of a sister down and told her to leave." She explained to him, recieving nods.

Mason pulled her into a gentle hug, one like how Cam would hug her. Tears welled in her eyes and she accepted the embrace.

"I have a place we can stay at, its not in the best conditions since its abandoned but I always go there to get away from everything for a bit." He said and gently grabbed her hand, leading her to his hide out.

Mason led Y/n through a maze of alleyways in the city and came up to this tiny apartment complex. It was tore up, boarded up, broken into, etc. Mason walked to one of the boarded up windows and gently pulled the wood off, revealing a clean open window. He motioned for her to go inside, so she did, climbing inside he followed behind her and put the wood back.

He led her down a hallway and opened a door to a room, it had a queen sized matress on the floor and some pillows and blankets nested into it.

"Here we are. I'm sorry its a mess, this is just temporary." He said and she shook her head, rubbing his arm.

"It's okay Macey, I appreciate it." She told him and looked around. She found a camping lantern and turned it on. She turned and smiled at Mason.

"We can always cozy this place up for you after everything is over. Fix it up a little, get  it cleaned. Make it feel more comfortable for you since it is your hideaway." She offered and he looked up at her grinning.

"Really? That sounds nice. But we focus on the major problem first, and then we can do that." He stated, and Y/n agreed. She sat on the bed and laid down.

"Oh, wait, before we get settled in, I do have extra clothes here and I don't want you sleeping in that dress cause you'll be uncomfortable." He said as he opened the closet in the room and pulled out a tshirt and sweatpants. He chucked it at her and smiled.

"I'll turn around so you can have some privacy." He said and Y/n laughed.

"I love how respectful you are even if you've seen my naked body before." She said as she began to change her clothes.

"Oi, but you're not mine. You're Cam's. He's my boss and I have to respect him and his lady." He stated happily.

Mason and Cam had a special bond, they were like brothers and Cam cared about him a lot. Y/n learned about their friendship and past when she began to date Cameron. His respect for the two of them made her smile. She finished changing and laid on the bed. Mason turned around and sat on the bed bedside her.

"Lets get some rest tonight, then first thing when we wake up we have to start planning." Mason said, rubbing Y/n's back and she nodded, getting under the covers. Mason followed after and Y/n looked at him.

"Can you snuggle with me? I feel like I could break at any moment and I could really use the comfort." She asked him and he nodded.

"Of course." He said, pulling her close to his body and holding her in his arms. She sighed and curled up with him, closeming her eyes.

Mason played with her hair and kissed the top on her head.

"It'll be okay, Y/n. I promise we'll get the boys back. I won't go down without a fight and I know you won't either.." He whispered softly, just before she fell asleep in his arms.

He looked down at her face and noticed she had quietly cried before she fell asleep, and he wiped the tears off her face, and squeezed her gently before going to sleep himself.
