General Rules
1. You must follow this awards account HPfanficawards- and weasleyqueen- - this is for updates about the awards and makes it easier for me to know if you are a part of the awards or not.
2. Add this book to your reading list or library - This is also for very important updates! I will not track you down to let you know there was a new update.
3. Inform me right away if you change your username - If I can't find you, I may have to find a new Professor/remove you from the awards so please make sure to tell me if you do!
4. Please be respectful to the Headmistress, Professors, and contestants - This is supposed to be fun! You will be disqualified if we see otherwise
5. SUBMIT YOUR ENTRIES IN THE CHAPTERS TITLED "PARTICIPANT ENTRY FORMS" OR "PROFESSOR APPLICATION FORMS" DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU WANT TO GO OUT FOR. NOT IN THE LIST OF ENTRIES.
PARTICIPANT RULES
1. You need a minimum of 5 chapters written (not including cast list or author notes) - This helps our judges to get a good feel for the story and see the character development.
2. English stories only - This is unless we find judges who can understand other languages.
3. Mature and LGBTQ+ books are accepted! But NO topics that violate Wattpad's guidelines.
4. You can enter up to three books but all must be in different genres - This is to give more people an equal chance to win in the different categories.
5. Add #HPAParticipant2020 to your book description - This is to help the Headmistress and Professors know they're judging/looking at the right one. If you've reached the max amount of hashtags, please put it at the bottom of your story description.
6. NO BRIBING THE JUDGES WHATSOEVER.
7. Password - On your entry form, comment your favorite magical subject so I know you've read the rules.
PROFESSOR RULES
1. Must be okay with reading mature and LGBTQ+ - You may have books that fall under those categories in your genre.
2. Don't let personal feelings get in the way - As then it would be unfair to the people who don't know you, and the ones who you disagree with.
3. Can be a participant but not in the category you're judging in - I think the reason for this is quite obvious.
4. Optional to add the hashtag #HPA to your account bio.
5. Report to us if someone tries to bribe you.
6. Password - On your application use the password of your favorite Harry Potter character! This is to ensure you read the rules.
