Plastic guitars and microphones

" So that's my little apartment..." I opened the door and Sam came after me. I couldn't believe the previous day I was blaming myself for showing a stranger my house and now I invited him to it. I felt so irresponsible and couldn't recognize myself but at the same time I was too excited and fascinated to let this go.

"It's not big, but enough to listen to vinyls" I smiled. " And study for college of course" I sighed.

"Oh, I think today we said everything that is possible to say about vinyls and musicians" He added, I saw a smile on his eyes. They were brown, but not normally brown like you see in other people's eyes, I would say these were coffee eyes.

I had to wake up because for a moment I was just starring at Sam again and had no idea what he just said. I think it was about my apartment, he probably said it was a nice place or something. I felt a bit ashamed about this and decided to move on to different topic.

"You were right about today, we said so much about music, but honestly this topic never ends"  I tried to have polite tone in my voice.

"Yeah, definitely, there's always a lot to say. Music expresses everything." He made a pause while he was looking around my place when we were walking to the living room. "It's very nice to meet someone who you have so much in common with" He added and I saw a light in his eyes. While he was saying that, he was looking at me. I felt squeeze inside me.

"Umm, yeah, I think so. You're actually a great person to talk about it, so I think in this regard we'll get along" I wanted to tell him how much I like his music taste but I didn't do that. Maybe I was too shy in that moment, he was still looking at me with these eyes.

We were standing in the middle of the living room and I realized I should have asked him if he wants something or at least try to gost him.

"So" I said louder, trying to embrace this conversation or something. "Sit down please, feel free" I smiled. "What do you want to drink? Or maybe something to eat?

"Thank you" He smiled on his beautiful gentle way and sat on the sofa. "I'm okay, don't make yourself a trouble"

Absolutely, that isn't any kind of trouble, I want to treat you like a normal guest, actually guests with a great music taste are even more precious in this house" I tried to mellow out and make him feel comfortable. "I have some green tea, do you like it?"

"Yes, it sounds perfect" I loved the way he was responding my every question. Always so kind.

I thanked myself in my head for cleaning my apartment that day, I didn't expect Sam coming here but thanks to this I wasn't ashamed about any mess.

I was looking through kitchen cupboards , took a bottle of wine with two glasses and went to join Sam.

" I brought wine, I hope you like it" I smiled to him while putting the glasses on coffee table.

"Oh, you're so hospitable, everything is perfect" Sam smiled back.

"Well you're my guest so I do my best" I wanted to sit with him on the couch but I looked through the window. The sky looked incredible.

"What do you think if we go to the balcony? It's pretty warm evening." I suggested.

"Oh yes that's a good idea."

We finally sat together on the balcony with a small,  round, wooden table and two chairs. I loved sitting there, especially on evenings like this. I had this small table, enough for one person and flowers in flowerpot, they were standing at the entrance in small, cozy corner. The balcony wasn't big but perfect for studying or just sitting at night while listening to music and watching other people's lives in the windows.  That's what I loved the most. Sometimes when your life seems boring, even your neighbor cleaning their apartment or making a dinner seems more interesting. This place was refreshing to me.
