Evolution/God Rant

Ok. I'm sorry but I didn't like the second season. Most likely because my favourite character was the antagonist this time around, but also for other reasons(all equally stupid).

First off, it felt unsure. The entire plot was supposed to be around Valt becoming the world champion, but was mostly him trying to back his friend which makes me wonder which was the real plot and which was the subplot and UGH I NEED IT TO BE CLEAR PLEASE AND THANK YOU. It kinda just felt like one big AU to me. Or that Takara Tomy while designing this in a lab or something was all like 'Hey, let's add a little higher stakes... a little... oops.' As they spill a whole bucket full of higher stakes into the plot. It just changed from glory and fame (and most likely a cash prize) to: 'Hey your BFF  is possessed and the only way you can save him is to beat him at the finals of the world championships.' ...okay then.

This just has to be brought up: WHY HAS THIS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. I don't get how this is the first time this has happened. There were powerful beys since forever, as noted when they went to the bey museum-not including Beyblade Metal Fusion BTW-. If it had happened before then wouldn't there be cautionary tales told to everyone about this? Not even the adults because they never notice anything, but just blader to blader, watch out or something. 'Hey, better be careful because I heard that so and so got possessed by their bey.' If Wakiya heard rumours about the Snake Pit then they would be rumours of possession or even just guesses(I just realized that this is basically the definition of rumours...oops).

Theodore Glass is a weirdo in my book and the Raging Bulls all suck up to him. The masked blazers are cool, Azure Eye is the best, End of story.

This is the part I was most enraged by. When Valt and the others went to Mexico to search for Shu, why did they only search for ONE DAY? I know this isn't real life or anything, but I would probably feel really mad at my friends if they just said, 'Yup, CQ isn't dead like what that  suspicious character just said. CQ probably just left to go train somewhere alone and is in no danger whatsoever, regardless of the fact that we can't reach said friend.' ...I see.

Then, since I'm doing this in an uncomfortable position on my bed I'll just sum up the part that angered me the most. WHY IS THE CHARACTER THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE LOGICAL AND SMART MAKING MULTIPLE DUMB DECISIONS?  I know this is the point of evolution and everything and yes this was completely necessary, BUT. This just gets me frustrated because how is going to a literal death camp going to make you stronger? If the character makes a stupid decision then I just go 'Ha, bet you'll never do that dumb thing again,' and move on. But these are multiple stupid decisions so you have to go through one, and then, not realizing that it was a bad idea you proceed to do MORE of ridiculous things because why not? I'm on a roll. I feel like this wouldn't have happened if Shu just talked to his parents before or something, Idk, just tell someone how upset you feel. But no, Shu is that cool character who hides their feelings until they break because those are just flat out the most liked characters in anything, and I'm no different.

I've lost my train of thought. Umm, I had others but I don't remember so anyone who reads this will just have to suffer through 4+ poorly written paragraphs, which I'm hoping will be the least I write but hey, you never know. If I actually publish this then you should know I wasn't thinking straight so please don't hate me if this was your favourite season. Peace out.
