For Sammy! She has been bugging me for this!

Just a warning, this chap is really short and boring, but its setting up the rest of the story!

For those old fans of this, this is going to be nothing like the old version, that's the point of me rewriting it.

Sorry to anyone who liked the old version, if you want I can re-post the old one, but I wont be writing it anymore.

Just keep running.

Don't look back.

My breathes came out in short puffs, causing white clouds of smoke to appear before my face.

Just keep running.

I ducked behind a tree, trying to catch my breath.

I pulled my cloak tighter around my body, pressing my back onto the tree behind me.

"There's no need to be afraid of the big bad wolf." A voice murmured, seemingly fair away.

Footsteps echoed through the clearing behind me, and I held my breath, hoping to hide from that thing.

"Where did you got Scarlet?" He called again, sounding mad this time.

Without a second thought, I jumped from my crouched spot behind the tree, and ran as fast as my legs would carry me.

I could hear him running after me, but concentrated on running away, not wanting him to catch up with me.

A low growl erupted from behind me, causing me to push myself that little bit harder.

Within seconds I was close enough to the edge of the woods so that thing was no longer chasing me.

Bursting out of the trees, I caught my breath before walking back towards the village.

Strange things lived in that forest.

I don't know what lives there.

But I can tell you, it wasn't a human chasing me in the first place.
