This story is a split perspective narrative inspired by real events.
I decided to write this book after the warning alarm went off at my school and I immediately grabbed my things and was about to run. My friends immediately told me that it was a drill and I had nothing to worry about.
Unfortunately, many people my age will hear that same warning alarm and not be able to say that it was just a drill.
I live in Australia, where school shootings occur close to never. However, I know in countries such as the U.S, they occur almost every second week. During these shooting, many young people get injured or lose their life.
Each chapter of this book is inspired by a real person/people. I have linked their real stories either at the end or the beginning of each chapter.

This book is not intended to glamourize or encourage school shootings or any violent attack in any way, shape or form.
Also, you will find that each chapter is graphic, some more than others. Again, this is inspired by real events.
