Chapter 8

(Graces Pov)

I woke up this morning a little nervous today was Connors party and I didn't want to go but as Luna of this pack it was something I had to do to make sure they be there is we got attacked. So I was about to get up when two very muscular arms where around my waist holding me in place i looked up to see Blade still sleeping. So I leant up a little and gave him a peck on the lips. His eyes shot open and he pulled me closer and gave me another kiss. But this time he licked my bottom lip asking for entrance which I quickly granted. But before things got to heated there was a knock on the door and when we looked up blades thirteen year old sister named Cassy jumping in top of both of us. Today Cassy was taking me to get a makeover before we left to back to blood moon territory and also my old home.

"Ready to go?" She squealed.

"Let me change and I will be right down ok" I told her.

"You have five minutes so hurry!" She said running out of the room.

So I grabbed a pair of easy slide on sweats because I was probably gonna have to be changing a lot and a tank top, then put my hair in a messy bun. I was about to walk out when Blade grabbed my arm and said "I'll see you soon I love you ok" his voice still husky from waking up.

"Ok love you to be back soon" I told him giving him a kiss on the cheek then walking out.

When I got downstairs I called for Cassy "ready to go" I asked.

"Ya this is going to be so much fun!"

When we got there we went to all the stores and bought at least one thing from each. So we only had two more stops the first would be to get my hair done. When we got there a girl who looked about nineteen came up to us and asked "what can I do for you to two today?"

"I wanted to dye my hair dark brown on top and work its way down and get to a light brown" I told the lady.

"Ok sit down we will have you done in no time" she told me.

Then an hour later I was finished and I loved the results! It came out perfect!

Know we had to go to stop number two. It was the dress shop. I had to but the perfect dress to where or tonight. When we got there we looked around but I didn't find anything but Cassy found me a huge stack of dresses all different colors and styles. Soshe shoved me in the dressing room and said "come out if you find one you like and I will tell you what I think!"

"Ok" I yelled back.

I tried on dress after dress but I didn't like any of it until the last dress it was a beautiful red dress that gave me a little cleavage on top and went down a to about half my thigh and made my legs look super hot and long and the best part was it was skin tight! Since I got here I have been working out nonstop so now I had a flat stomach.

"I'm coming out tell me what you think" I said

When I came out she gasped and said "that is definitely the dress it looks killer on you we have to buy it!"

"I love it to just give me a minute to change back into my clothes and we will go" I told her.

After we paid for the dress we headed home. And I got ready for the party.

"Ready to go love" blade asked from the bottom of the stairs.

"Ya be down in a minute" I said putting the final touches of makeup on my face.

"Wow you look stunning" he said looking me up an down.

"Thanks" I said my cheeks tuning a light shade of pink.

"I want to give you something" he said pulling out a beautiful necklace out of his pocket it was the shape of a white rose. I felt like my breath was caught in my throat I couldn't speak then Blade said "it's a necklace that lets me feel what you feel since we are not mated yet I wanted you to have it, it will also tell the other males that you are mine."

When I could finally speak I said "thank you so much it's beautiful I love it!" I gave him a peack on the lips then he put the necklace on me an we where on our way to blood moon territory.

(Connors Pov)(two hours later)

The guests where starting I arrive at the pack house when I got down stairs. I went and said stuff like 'hi' and 'thank you for coming' to a lot when I got a mind link from Jace saying that 'she' was pulling up in the drive way and they where our last guest.

So I went up to my father and said "the last guest is arriving shall we start?"

"Yes" he said and we went to the stage an I heard the door open and close and the smell of vanilla and a hint of cinnamon hit my nose. I wanted to follow it but I knew better the hard part was keeping my wolf at bay because when he saw her he wanted to take her there and then he just kept repeating 'take mate! Go to mate!' In my head so I said back 'wolf calm down we will have her soon enough'

"Thank you all for coming today to celebrate my son becoming alpha" he said there where claps then he continued "he will choose his mate now"

Then the room went quiet waiting for me to pick my mate when I finally spoke I said "I choose Grace Ballmen as my mate and future Luna!" I spoke proudly an there where mourners heard throughout the room but everyone went silent when a loud threatening growl erupted from Alpha Blade. Then I looked over at Grace and her face was pale she was getting up to try to calm Blade down but when she got up she passed out but Blade caught her before she hit the floor. That's when I realized that was my first big mistake in getting her back
