"Ron! Shut it! You'll wake her up!" Hermione whisper-yelled. I rolled over and moaned.
"Now you've done it!" Hermione continued. I sat up and looked down at the scene. The tent looked packed, as in we were going to be leaving the site shortly.
I hopped off of the bunk, and walked around, looking for my bag.
"Morning, kids." I said brightly. I had always been a morning person.
"Kids? What, are you my mother?" Ron said sarcastically.
"Well, no, but I am older than you lot." I said. I contiued to look for my bag when I spotted it, hiding under a chair. I grabbed it, and walked into the back most room to change. I pulled off my pajama pants and put on some jeans, and a sweatshirt. I walked back to find Hermione, Ron and Harry gathered around in a circle. I walked up behind them, and cleared my throat. If they didn't want me to know what they were planning with You-Know-Who, I wasn't going to ask.
Hermione jumped, and stuffed something large into that little purse of hers.
"You ready to leave?" She asked. I nodded. Harry and Ron began to walk, and I followed. We were outside the tent, and Hermione made it out before the boys collapsed the tent with magic. Hermione then shoved the now tiny tent into her bag, and slung it over her shoulder. She held both of her hands out, and Harry took one, while Ron took the other. Harry then held his hand out to me.
"Well, come on." He said. I shook my head.
I really shouldn't be with these three... I can tell that I'm just slowing the process of what they were planning.
Harry groaned loudly. He quickly moved forward and grabbed my arm. Hermione disapparated us, and when we landed, I stumbled and fell. Harry laughed as he pulled me to my feet.
"You two; pitch the tent. Isabella, come help me set up the enchantments." Hermione ordered. I pulled my wand out of my backpack and set to work. Hermione was muttering the spells so fast, I thought she'd finish before I could think of one. So, I took my heritage to an advantage, and started performing Russian and Germanic spells.
"What were those?" Hermione asked, as we finished the spells. I shrugged.
"My sister tought me. We're Russian and German, so she translated some of their spells for me. So I know some pretty powerful Russian spells. The German ones are more for protection." I explained as we walked back to the tent.
"That's so cool. Do you think you could teach me?" She asked, as I held open the tent flap for her.
"Maybe. It takes a while, but I'll try." I said honestly.
That night, we started learning small German spells. I taught her the German version of Protego, and she mastered it. Harry even cought on to the spell.
"No. Ron, it's a stabbing motion, not a slashing." I said
"Schützen." He said, as he pushed his wand sharply twards me. I saw the air move like you'd see the heat waves off of a road, and I smiled, knowing he had just performed it perfectly.
"Töten." I said. The purple jet of light from the German killing curse hit Ron's protective wall, then disappeared into the air.
"Very good, Ron." I praised.
"What was that spell you just used?" Harry asked, from somewhere to my right.
"The Germanic killing curse." I said with a smile. Hermione looked apalled.
"You could have killed him!" She said forcefully.
"No, I wouldn't have. I knew he did it right before I drew my wand. I watched it." I said.
I could tell Hermione liked Ron just from the way she acted around him. I could also tell that Ron liked her back, but both were oblivious to it.
Hermione sighed.
"Can you teach us that?" Ron asked, his eyes wide.
"It's a little advanced... and you'd have nothing to practice on." I said honestly. Ron's face fell and I thought of something else I could teach them.
"I could teach you how to knock someone out." I said with a slight shoulder shrug, and a hopeful face. Hermione and Harry nodded.
"Okay, so, you hold your wand out, and point it at the opponet's chest. You hold it still, and say 'leblos' softly. Ready, go." I said, standing behind Hermione, and holding her wand hand steady.
"Leblos." She murmured. A pastel yellow light burst from her wand. I smiled.
"Good job!" I said, praising her. "You're up, Harry."
I did the same thing to him, and the same thing happened.
"Ron." I said, as I approached him from behind. I wrapped my hand around his, and he shrugged it off.
"Leblos!" He said loudly. A bright yellow light flew around the tent, coming to a hault when I used Schützen.
"Too loud, Ron." I said. He huffed, and he scowled.
"You'll get it, Ron. Don't sweat it." I said. I took a seat on the chair that was across the room and sank into it. I pulled my feet into my lap and began massaging them. The three others settled in chairs around me, making a circle.
"What are we gonna do? We can't be out here in the forrest forever." Ron said.
"We need to figure things out as we go. We don't even know what the others are." Hermione said.
"Look where that's gotten us, Hermione! We need to figure out what the others are so we can take down Vol-"
"Harry, NO!" Hermione, Ron and I shouted.
"-demort!" Harry finished. My heart started pounding as four distinct cracks were heard from outstide the tent. Hermione and I started stuffing things into our bags as the snatchers made their way into the tent.
