I don't know what she's
capable of doingBut she's hurting me
*:・゚✧*:・゚✧SHE COULDN'T BREATHE, it felt as if someone was choking her. Her heart was racing and all she wanted to do was curl up into a ball and wait for someone to save her. But no one would, no one was there. A choked cry for help forced itself up her throat, and she felt a drop run down her cheek. It seemed as if this was the end of the road for her.
She strained her vocals but nothing came out, still she screamed, hoping someone would hear her. Suddenly, her body wracked with raw sobs and she shook like a leaf. Fright consumed every cell in her body, swelling them with terror. With every second she practically felt the rise of her blood pressure, but she knew that this was the least of her worries.
"Help!" She screamed her throat horse from her cries. "Thomas!"
She looked to her right to see the door was closed. She crawled to it and tried to open it, her bare hands pushing against the rough surface of the door. However, it stood stubbornly in its place.
Her legs started trembling, her hands weakening until she couldn't cling onto the door handle any longer and she collapsed to the floor unexpectedly. Her chest was heaving with massive breaths she could obtain from the little air in the room. And after several attempts of brushing off the nausea, her eyes tightened into a straight line of exhaustion.
Nonetheless, she was looking down at her feet, dwelling as her back rested against the wall, trying to swallow the lump in the back of her throat.
There was not even a window in the room. A shudder ran through her. Trapped. She was trapped. Melody was confined within the walls of the room, with a metallic smell hanging in the air. It reminded her somewhat of the smell of dried blood.
Momentarily, there was another minute of quietude before the next wave hit in. Her stomach started crumbling inside, while panic inflicted her abdoman as the door flew ajar. Standing there in the shadowy gloom of the doorway was a silhouetted figure, broad and unmoving. She cowered against the walls as if trying to make herself smaller, taking in shallow breaths, careful not to make a sound.
"Miss Moore. Everythings going to be alright." The figure spoke. It was a man, an older man. However, his words were just a white noise in her ears. Her heart was both racing and slowing down, and she didn't know what to do other than let him speak. Her head was thumping in rhythm with her sharp breathes.
She wanted to speak, but as hard as she tried, it was impossible to get a word out between her sharp and rapid exhalation and for a moment, all that left her lips was raspy nonsense.
