Hato's P.O.V
We finished putting the furniture into the house earlier than yesterday, thank goodness. The house now looked really nice, and Karma was looking at it in awe (still with a smirk on his face)."Wow," he said," I never thought I would see this place look like this in years."
"And it only took two days to do this," I pointed out," but that's what happens when you have the ultimate maid helping!"
Kurumi looked at me with wide eyes and a pink face while my mind was screening at me for saying that. She does not need to know this now. It's obvious that she doesn't know about Danganronpa yet. Or hopefully ever. I don't want her to die yet.
"I wouldn't say that," she said while looking away," I'm not THAT good at this stuff."
"That's an understatement," I whispered to Karma.
"I'm going to be making dinner soon," Kurumi said," Why don't you make yourself at home, Akabane-kun."
"Karma is fine," Karma said," I hate it when people call me by my last name."
"Understood," Kurumi said before walking into the kitchen.
Once Kurumi left the room, the two of us just stood their awkwardly. Both of us were probably wondering what to say, me more than him. After a few minutes, I finally decided to speak up.
"So how was school?" I asked.
He looked at me for a second before his smirk grew.
"You're not used to talking to people, are you?" He asked.
"Hey!" I yelled," That's not true! I was just trying to fill the awkward silence!"
"Sure you were," he said," School was good though. We got to swim in a new swimming hole that our teacher made us. It was pretty cool!"
Ah, so that's where I am in the story.
"Sounds fun," I said.
"So what class are you going to be in?" Karma asked
"Shouldn't it be obvious?" I asked," During the little meeting I had with the principle, he said 'let's be glad you wanted to be in E class'."
"Well than," he said," If that's the case, do you know about...?"
Before he finished his sentence, my phone started ringing. And guess what that means! Shoot Me by Day6 was playing really loud.
Quickly, I picked my phone up and put it up to my ear.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hey Hato!" I heard a familiar female voice say.
"Oh Chelsea!" I beamed," I didn't expect you to call so soon!"
"I just wanted to say hi," Chelsea said," what's wrong with that?"
I was about to reply, until I realized something. The voice she used when she said that was a bit different than usual. And that told me something. She wanted to talk about something in private.
"Excuse me Karma," I said to him," I need to go to another room."
"Who are you talking to Hato?" Chelsea asked.
"Someone from Kunugigoaka," I said as I went to another room," one of the main characters from the show."
"I see," Chelsea said," Are you alone now?"
"Yeah, I am," I said.
"Okay, good," Chelsea said.
"So what did you want to talk about?" I asked.
"Oh well...."
Chelsea seemed to hesitate, making me worry a little. She must be wanting to talk about something serious. I've never heard her hesitate.
"This has to do with what Haruhi mentioned to us before we started our training," she said.
Before we started our training? What did she say before training started that made Chelsea act like this.
"And what is that?" I asked," my memory of that moment is still a little fuzzy."
"That's understandable, I guess," Chelsea said," but I'm talking about Anthony's death and Petra's death."
"Oh, that," I said.
"I was just wondering, if Petra was able to go to another dimension after her death," she said," maybe Anthony did the same."
My eyes widened. She was completely right about that, but that made me wonder. That conversation happened in, what, February? March? I don't know. By why bring it up now?
"That would be great if that happened," I said," but why bring this up now?"
"Well," she said," I was wondering if you could look for Anthony while you're in different dimensions."
Ah, so that's why.
"Well," I said," I'll try. I know how much Anthony means to you ."
"Thank you!" Chelsea beamed," this means the world to me!"
"It's not a problem," I said.
I just need to figure out how to do that.
"Oh, by the way Ymir and Historia said hi," she said," And Izaya got your number from Haruhi."
Oh no.
"Bye!" She said before hanging up.
I looked at my phone for a second, before sighing and facepalming. Izaya got my number, and he liked annoying me a lot. That isn't a good combination.
And then my phone started ringing again. I looked down at it, saw a familiar number, and ignored it. Not dealing with this today.
I left the room and saw Karma sitting on the couch, texting someone.
"Sorry about that!" I said," a friend of mine just wanted to ask something."
"Doesn't matter," Karma said while putting his phone away," You're friend sounded serious."
"Huh, period head understands stuff like this?" I asked," wow, that's new!"
Karma looked at me with an annoyed smirk before he pulled out a game. Specifically, GTA 5.
"So, I found this," he said.
Oh, I think I know what he's about to ask.
"I will flipping run to over bud," I said.
So we started playing GTA, and started screaming at each other. Mainly me screaming at him and him making sarcastic comments. One of these thing I screamed was "CHOO CHOO MOTHER F**KER!" while I slammed a truck into his character.
We did this for the rest of the night, and it was fun. We're probably going to be tired tomorrow at school. But, you know what, I don't care. I'm having a blast, and seems like Karma is as well.
