DARREN'S POV

"Hey wait!"I shouted to call her attention.

She didn't look back so I shouted again.

This time she turned and walked towards me.

"What is it?"she asked.

"Uhh...---I--...."I hesitated.

Aaahh! Darren what's wrong with you.

"Uhh...you see...I'm new here...so i'm gonna need someone to....you know help me out."i managed to complete the sentence.

"And?"she said.

"And.....I was thinking that....well,.....that person could be you?"i asked.

"Uhh yeah sure of course....hahahahhahahahhahaha...."she said.

I was so lost in thought looking at her, she looks so beautiful, that i didn't realize I was smirking all the time.

"What? Why are you smirking?"she suddenly asked.

"Huh? What?............uhhh nothing...."i said.

"Owwwwkayyy?..."she said.

"yeah."i said.

Then it started to get awkward because of the silence. Then suddenly she swore....

"Shit!..."she said.

"What?!"i said.

"I missed First class!"she said.

Is this girl serious? LOL but ha! she looks so cute when she suddenly realizes something. Wait...what am I thinking? Ughh...snap out of it Darren!.. What's wrong with you? You just see a very pretty girl and you act all like an idiot?

"Hahhahahah sure thing idiot."she suddenly said.

Wait, what? she heard me? Did I say that out loud??

"Actually yes... but thanks anyways.hahahahhaahahhahah"she said.

Ughh Dang it Darren! Snap out of it! Don't look at her pretty face! I hope I did not say that out loud this time. Arghhh..!!

"Uhhh about that..... the school nurse gave me an excuse letter for you.............and uhh....you could just attend second period...................and uhh be excused in the first....well, of course...Darren that's why it's called EXCUSE letter. Dang it what are you saying?"i suddenly said to myself sarcastically.

She just giggled at me. Uhhh!!! I facepalmed. Well done Darren! That was a job well done! note sarcasm. Her giggle is very contagious and she also looks cute. Ok! stop it now. Dang it you don't even k ow this pretty girl's name! Wait! oh yeah.....I still don't know her name. How could I have been so senile.

"Uhh..BTW I still don't know your name. Or should I call you miss beautiful."i said.

She giggled again. Dang! she's so adorable

"Ohh hahaha uhmm... It's Jessinica but you can call me Jessie."she said.

Nice name...

"Uhhh...if you don't mind can I uhh.... ask about ....well.....you know......."I was going to finish the sentence but she cut me off.

"The name?<and I just nodded> Yeah I know it's very very very weird. My parents said they combined the names Jessica and Danica since they couldn't decide on which name to give me when I was born. And...well...that's what they say.... you know.. there's a part of me that doesn't believe that."she said.

"And why is that?"i asked.

"IDK...it's just...uhh...you know what?.........nevermind that .............Let's not talk about it."she said.
