~Chapter 8~

JESSIE'S POV

"Uhmmm,.....who are you?"i asked.

There's this lady who came to my school after dance squad practice(Yes, we have practices during weekends.See, i told you I'm a very busy person).She was standing by my locker in a somehow i dont know........weird outfit? or if that's how you describe that. But anyway.........

"Good day miss Jessinica."she said.

"Were you se-----"i said but was cut off.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Alexandria Patricia Monterey, your personal assistant. And if you were going to ask if i was sent by your parents, then yes, yes i was. Glad to meet you."she said.

Ohhh so that explains the outfit.....

"Uhhhhh....How old are you??"i asked.

"I'm 17 years of age."she said rather formally.

Wow, she's young and she's my age yet she looks very mature.I have a feeling that we'll get along just fine.

"Uhh can i have a favor?"i asked.

"Could you not speak so formally to me coz it's rather weird and awkward. Besides, we're of the same age so...yeah you dont need to be formal and please just do call me jessie."i said sincerely.

"Ohh of course..Miss...erhm... i mean Jessie."she said.

"Would you like to go for coffee? so we could get to know each other more."i asked her.

"ohh uhhmm i'd love to."she replied.

------At the coffee shop-------

After ordering, we settled in an empty seat.

Don't you have school?"i asked.

"Uhhmm actually i do but i do special schooling so i only have school for 2 times a week and that would be Monday and Friday. That was actually one of the reasons your parents hired me. They said they wanted to get a PA that wont be affected in studying. And i was the daughter of a friend so i was lucky to have been hired instantly."she explained.

My parents must have known that i would get along well with someone my age than someone not.

We continued to talk a little more.

"I'll be at your house every morning to give you your faily schedule and bring you to school. There will be times that i'll be busy with other matters so maybe i'll just call or message you. And if i have no school, i'll go to your school every dismissal to tell you thangs and all. And i think that just about sums it up."she said.

"uhhmmm..alright."i said.

I was talking to her when i suddenly glanced at my watch. Wait?! OMG!? O my I completely forgot. Ugh..... sh*t...

"Uhhh..alexa...i have somewhere else to be right now im so sorry."i said.

"Where will you go ?"she asked.

"uhh...to meet a friend."i said.

"I'm so sorry Jessinica, i--i...hate to say this but you have something scheduled for today and we need to go now."she said.

"What?! Why?"i questioned.

"I'm so sorry but you know i dont make the decisions here your parents do. And you have a pictorial or uhmmm...photo shoot."she said.

"Pictorial?! for what?!"i asked more furiously but i tried to maintain the height of my voice.

"It's for uhmmm....your 18th birthday debut."she said.

"What?! Why today? of all days it just has to be today.Why can't it be some other day?Plus, my birthday's still a few months from now. Why so early?"i said.

"Your parents are only available today i guess and they wanted to make early preparations."she said.

Ughh..why? why now? I can't believe it. What'll Darren say? OMG i hope he doesn't get mad.

"How long will it take??"I asked.

"Honestly i dont know but i think approximately 5 hours plus, continuation tomorrow because we can't finish that in 1 day."she said.

I facepalmed. What am i going to do?????

"Fine,There's nothing i can do anyway."i said.

On the way to the photo shoot, i gathered my courage to call Darren and ask for apology coz i can't make it to our so-called "friendly date" or his"friendly offer".

I cant take this. ong omg omg omg Ahhhhhh the phone is ringing!! andthe. he answers the phone.

"Hello? Jessie?"he asked.

"Look, uhhmmm...i dont really know how to say this but I'm so so so so sorry....Darren....I'm so so so sorry."i said.

"For what?"he asked absent-mindedly.

"I uhh..can't make it today for our "friendly date" or whatsoever. Something came up and it's really important. I'm so sorry, i really am."i said.

"Oh."was all he managed to say.

"Are you mad?"i asked.

"Uhh.no..no...no.. of course not. It's alright i understand. Maybe some other time?"he said.

"hmm..yeah i guess. listen, i'm so sorry talaga. I'll make it up to you next time."I said.

"Promise?"he asked.

"Promise."i answered.

"Ok i have to go bye!"i said.

We then arrived at the photo shoot.

DARREN'S POV
She couldn't come.

I 've been trying to prepare for this the whole day but yeah......she can't come.

I said "oh" but it actually means my heart just got ripped into a million pieces but i won't tell her because she wouldn't care how i feel anyway.

All week I've been thinking of her and asking questions to myself. I thought of it for so long that even in my sleep i'm thinking of her. Putting it all together, kt all leads to one conclusion:I like her.

Yes, i like her in a way.

A way that's unique, somethin' that i've never felt for anyong else. And it's a very weird feeling.

I don't know I think I want her you think of me the way i think of her.

Ugh....

Maybe, this is just infatuation?

ehh..i dont know, but when i do know, i don't really know.

See! i'm crazy!

I'm falling i guess. this is so so so difficult.

This is one big dilemna.
