Finally Awake

Camila's POV

A couple of minutes ago...

I'm fighting for her, fighting to live for Lauren because I need her and I'll do whatever it takes to be with her. I hear the door open, my mind is awake but I can't open my eyes yet. I hear someone sit down next to me and I feel their hands on mine as they interlock our fingers.

"Camila," I hear them whisper. "I need you baby," They whisper. They caress my hand kissing the back of it.

"I wish you can hear me say this baby," They whisper. "But I'm falling for you hard baby girl I'm only dating Rae so my feelings can fade for you but I guess my idea didn't work" They confess.

"I still had feelings for you and I was scared because it was the first time I fell for someone and I guess I should have told you instead of running" They continue. "I need you to wake up baby I need to hear your voice, see your smile, see your beautiful eyes again, and..."

I feel them move and I feel their breath, their face close to mine, their scent. I wish I knew who they are, I thought.

"Feel you kiss me again," They whisper. I feel their lips on mine to then the door open, a slap, and the arguing.

A couple of seconds later the door opens and the doctor comes in. I open my eyes and he smiles coming over to me.

"Such a Christmas miracle you're awake," He smiles warmly.

"What?" I asked confused.

"It's midnight Christmas Eve," He says making me smile. "I'll bring your friends and family in, welcome back sweetheart," The doctor says.

A couple of seconds later I hear some screaming outside and lots of loud talking. The door finally opens and I open my eyes slowly to see my friends and my brother. "Camila" Troy says softly coming over to my side. I smile weakly at him. Dinah comes to the other. "Chanco oh my god this is such a miracle" She says hugging me lightly.

I move my hand slowly hugging her back. "I" I speak lowly my voice sounding hoarse from not speaking for days. "Sh" Dinah shushes me. Normani comes over and smiles at me. "I'm glad your back Mila," She says touching my hand.

"Gracias a Dios, move," Ally says. "I'm so happy to hear you again Mila I thought I never will," Ally says.

"I thought I'll never see you guys again," I mumble.

"I should have jumped," Troy says.

"I.. It's fine," I stutter touching his arm. "It's not... Yo... Your fault" I mumble.

He holds my hand and kisses it. "I love you, little sister," He says

"I love you too," I smile lightly. "I thought you will never tell me that," I confess.

"I'll tell you now because I do little sister, I always had had always will," He says.

I smile weakly at him and Dinah touches my shoulder. "What about Lauren?" She whispers.

I look at her, closing my eyes lightly and opening them.

"L.. La... Lauren" I call her.

She looks up at me, her face pale.

"Come over here," I said weakly.

Lauren's POV

I walk over to her, feeling a tear roll down.

"Hey don't cry," She says.

"We will leave you guys alone," Dinah says pushing everyone out.

The door closes and I look down at Camila. "Camila," I whisper, feeling another tear.

Her hand cups my cheek weakly. "Don't cry..." She trails off. "Baby," She finishes.

I grab her hand interlacing our fingers. I kiss the back of it, resting my cheek as I cry.

"L.. Lauren," She mumbles.

"Yes?" I said locking eyes with her.

"Stop crying baby," She says.

"I'm just happy you survived, I thought I was gonna lose you," I whisper.

"You never will," Camila says. "I fought for you," She confesses.

"What?" I said looking down at her.

"I fought for life so I can see you again," She says. "See you smile, feel your touch, hear your voice, see your beautiful eyes," She explains. "Kiss your lips," Camila says finally.

I bite my lower lip holding in tears. "You fought for me?" I said in disbelief and she nods.

I smile at her weakly and hug her. She hugs me back, close to her.

"I did it for you," Camila whispers.
