*Dean's POV*

We are seated in a small restaurant nearby. The ride was fun especially when Debbie couldn't walk after it was over and Hunter had to help her. Vera on the other hand, surprised me as she didn't react much. She only felt dizzy for a while.

"I'll have a bottle of coke please." I tell the waiter.

"Same." Vera says.

The others order food and drinks and we chat till it's getting late. Once we're done, I drive Vera to Debbie's house. The ride is quiet for a while so I get a conversation started.

"So you had fun?" I ask while driving.

"Yes thank you so much. I actually thought I'd die of boredom this weekend." She laughs out and I join in.

"How about we hang out again?"

She turns to look at me for some time before smiling.

"As in a date?" I can tell she's playing with me.

"Maybe... I guess... Or we could just you know meet at..."

"I would like to go out with you again." She interrupts me. We both smile and I can see my game is getting to the next stage.

"Cool. I like your smile though." I mumble. She laughs so I'm guessing she heard me. I am actually being honest. Her smile is really beautiful.

"I believe you tell that to every girl you hang out with but thanks." She says not looking at me.

"You really take me as a bad dude." I try to change her perspective.

"No. You just act like one. I mean in school... And with like every girl in school no offence." She says trying not to upset me.

"None taken. I just get a lot of attention." I say casually then an idea pops up in my head.

"If I stay away from all those girls, will you hang out with me often?" I ask.

She looks at me with a smile though she looks puzzled.

"Are you being serious right now?" She asks clearly surprised.

"Ya I guess. All I'm asking is a little more of your time."

"Well uhm I guess that could work. What do I get out of this?" She smirks.

Is she flirting with me?

"Hanging out with the most handsome guy in school?" I say, trying to keep it light.

"Whatever. You really love to feel special, don't you?" She laughs as she tries to act like me. I chuckle and shake my head.

Soon enough, I get to Debbie's house so park and turn to face her.

"See you tomorrow?"

"Ya. Thanks again for today De'Mon." She smiles. It makes me smile too. She makes a move to open the car door but I stop her.

"Come on. You didn't give me a peck on the cheek." I tease and her eyes widen. I can see her cheeks turn bright pink.

"Maybe because I don't owe you that." She says, trying to hide the fact that she's blushing.

"But I guess I could do something for you." She smirks as she comes closer to my cheeks. I feel her hot breath against my face then she whispers:

"I know you want more than a peck on your cheek but you'll have to make do with my phone number for now"

I laugh as she takes my phone and types her number. She then goes out of the car and walks over to where I am.

"Goodnight Dean." She says softly.
