Over the next few months the gang made it a habit to visit the sandwich shop at least twice a week. There were weeks where they went everyday. They even began bringing Trish with them. As time went on Luna's shyness slowly faded. Her personality slowly came out, proving her to be a bright bubbly sort of person. Fugo found himself admiring the way she still blushed when laughing. He found himself admiring quite a lot of things about her. They were always little things. Like how she always took a breath before speaking or the way she would fidget with her hands when in deep thought. Or even the way she became super focused when working, like the whole world faded. Though he wouldn't admit it to anyone, Fugo began thinking that what he felt for her might have been something more than admiration, but there was one big thing standing in his way. She had become comfortable around all of Bucciarati's squad. Well, with everyone except him.
"Good morning Luna!!!!" Narancia was always the first to burst into the shop with his arms thrown open to greet Luna. She turned just in time to be caught by the jittery boy, dropping her broom in the process.
"Good morning Nara!" She responded with equal amount enthusiasm to see her friend as she hugged him back.
"Narancia! You shouldn't just burst in like that. You could have really scared her," Bucciarati said sternly entering with his group.
"Good morning Bruno," Luna greeted. She'd gotten on a first name basis with most of the gang.
"Good morning Luna." Bruno gently placed a kiss on her cheek as a greeting. And so forth it went as she greeted them. She got her head pat from Abbacchio, her hug from Mista, her kiss on the cheek from Giorno, and even her cheek pinch from Trish. And then it came down to.....
"Good morning, Miss Luna," Fugo tried his best to smile, opening his arms for a hug.
"Ummmm, uh hi, Fug-go" All the color on Luna's face completely drained. Instead of going in for a hug, Luna took one of Fugo's hands in both of hers and shook it. She then scurried back into the kitchen, like a startled wild animal.
"Pfft, at least she used both hands this time Fugo." Mista laughed. Even though Luna had warmed up to everyone else, she was still shy around Fugo. She never seemed to completely relax around him, even when the two had conversations with each other. Why was she so afraid? Fugo couldn't wrap his head around it. And it infuriated him. The group sat down at the table. Fugo walked to the bathroom to splash cold water on his face until he calmed down.
"Looks like Fugo's sulking again." Narancia said, turning the conversation topic over.
"Why does he get like this every time? If she doesn't want to be his friend, shouldn't he at least let it go?" Trish said.
"It not that simple. Fugo really wants her to be comfortable with him" Giorno said in a hushed tone.
"But why?" Trish asked, matching Giorno's tone.
"Oh that's cuz Fugo has a fat crush on Luna." Narancia blurted out loud.
CRASH
The group turned to see a very startled Luna surrounded by spilled drinks and broken glass.
"Are you okay, Luna?"
Giorno, Narancia, and Trish all shot up and helped her clean as Abbachio, Bruno, and Mista looked over concerned.
"I'm uh fine," She pulled a rag out of her apron and began cleaning up the spilled drinks as the others picked up the broken glass and piled it on the tray. A short silence fell over them.
"Na-arancia, is it true?"
"Is what true?" Luna's cheeks turned a deep shade of crimson.
"Th-that stuff you said about Fugo. Is i-it t-true?"

FanficLuna de la Rosa is your typical soft spoken protagonist who is shy around people. Though shy around everyone, she seems to quite literally run away from Fugo. Is it fear? Fortunately for Fugo, the reason is a little more interesting.
