Nobody said a word. It was very still and silent. Shuichi finally looked up to see what Yuki was thinking and when he did, he wished that he hadn't. Yuki wasn't happy but was actually laughing. Laughing. Why is he laughing? Then it dawned on Shuichi. Yuki thought that what they were saying was a joke. Didn't he. He doesn't believe us. And with that Shuichi panicked and ran out the house. He could take it. It was all too much for him. He was running and crying so much that he didn't know that as he was crossing the road, a car was coming. And before he could stop it was too late. All Shuichi could do was close his eyes and brace for impact. But it never came.
