Dean slammed the door shut behind him and glared at me when he noticed my presence. We just stood there glaring at one another, not saying a word. "Are you two love birds just gonna stand there staring into each others eyes whole day, or are you gonna help me here?" Kim called from the kitchen counter. I gave him the finger and sauntered over to Kim. I heard him grumbling something I didn't hear clearly and smirked to myself.

Kim looked at me suspiciously noticing my smirk. She threw a water bottle at me without warning and I surprised myself by catching it. I widened my eyes and grinned feeling proud. "Did you see that?!" I almost yelled. "See what?" she asked. Instead of answering her, I did my happy dance and sing-songed. "I caught it, I caught it! Yeahhh, oh yeahhh! Did you see that, did you-" I stopped in  the middle of my rejoice,  realizing what I was doing. Kim stared at me blankly before bursting out laughing. I felt my cheeks heat up, but soon joined her.

We were on the floor in hysterics when Dean came in the kitchen to fetch a can of coke. He gave us a weird look before exiting the kitchen. When Kim and I had gathered everything we needed, we headed upstairs to her room. Their house is quite big and isn't too far from mine. Dad actually earns a lot of money, but doesn't like to flaunt it and I'm glad he doesn't.

"So Claire, tell me a bit about yourself." Kim asked biting into a slice of pizza. "Well there's nothing much to know, I'm just plain boring ol' me." I told her truthfully. I don't even now much about myself, I've changed so much since well...yeah. "There has to be more to you than just that." she stated. "Well, there's not." I told her again.  "Okay, I'll get it out of you some day." she grinned wickedly.  I'm not ready to tell her about my history. We just met and what if she changes her mind about being friends? No, I can't tell. I'm not ready.

I shook my head and greadily gulped down some water. "Erm...Claire?" Kim asked me hesitantly. "Yeah."

"About earlier today...I didn't tell you the complete story. There's more behind it, but it's not my story to tell." she smiled sadly. "I know." I told her. "What?" she seemed shocked. "Your brother couldn't have just decided he didn't want to take you home out of the blue. There's always reasons behind things." I told her wisely. I was even surprised at my sudden amount of knowledge.  "Trust me, sometimes I think my brother's bipolar. He will just decide something without a reason." she told me humorously with a little chuckle. I chuckled in reply and thought about what she said.

"Let's watch a movie!" Kim cheered. "Okay! What movies do you have?" my mood suddenly brightened. Movies is always the answer, it takes you away from reality and allows you to escape all your sorrows. "I'll go fetch a few downstairs, keep yourself busy!" she yelled as she ran down the stairs.

Before I knew what I was doing, I was in front of Dean's room door. Someone kill me now. Wait nevermind, I'm about to die. It's fine nobody has to kill me, Dean will do the job. Why am I even thinking these things? Just to clarify, I'm not a stalker. Kim gave me a tour of the house before we went to her room. And plus, why would I want to stalk Dean anyways?

I was about to knock on the door when someone else opened the door from the other side. Dean, obviously. I jumped back the tiniest bit out of fright while Dean glared down at me. I don't want to admit it, but it put me under a lot of pressure.

"What do you want?" he said through gritted teeth.

"No-I-uhh. Errr...N-Nothing." I struggled to get my words out.

"Now? Go. What are you still doing here?" he glared at me.

All this boy ever does is glare. Why is he always so unhappy? Him and his sister are definitely nothing alike. I was about to protest when I realized he wasn't kicking me out of the house, he was talking about getting out of his way. I blushed and turned the other way to go back to Kim's room. Why did I go there again? Oh yeah, I don't know. As soon as I was in her room I closed the door. Leaning against it, I let out a breath I never knew I was holding and sighed.

Kim came back upstairs and we spent the rest of the evening watching Divergent, The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner and The Notebook. We also watched one series of Teen Wolf. I'm obsessed! I refused to watch The Notebook, but I ended up watching it for the sake of Kim. I hadn't seen Dean for the rest of the night since our encounter outside of his room.. That night I went home and fell asleep with a smile on my face, happy at thought of finally finding happiness.

---Author's Note---

Okay, so I've dedicated this chapter to @Risse17 for being an inspiration to me. She sticks to Wattpad during troublesome times and is an amazing writer. Help a sista out and maybe follow her or check out her books: A Key From Paris, The Journal 1876, New People New Day, A Collection Of Poems. It's not completed yet, but all writers need support and encouragement.

THANKS SO MUCH!
