"Abigail!" My mother yelled for me, interrupting Why Don't We's new song, Come To Brazil I was jamming to.

"Yes mum?" I yelled back. She entered my room.

"You, know, Abigail. If you ever turned down your music, you might be able to hear me," she spoke softly. I sighed.

"Do you need something, mother? I'm almost done packing and then we will leave. Are Max and Alex packed and ready to go?" I asked, referring to my twin brother and his best friend. Today was the day we all moved into our apartment in L.A. We all got full rides to UCLA for the next 4 years. Max and Alex are going on a football scholarship and I, for fine arts. Specifically acting and singing.

"They are waiting in the van. Do you need help carrying you bags or not?"

"If you'll take the two suitcases by the door, that would be helpful." I told her. I could get my back pack, pillow and two other suitcases. You may think I'm over packed, but I am moving from London to Los Angeles.

"Of course baby," she kissed my forehead and grabbed the suitcases. I zipped up my last suitcase and grabbed everything. I made it down the stairs and to the car. Alex got out to help me put my stuff in the van.

"Thanks, Lex."

"No prob," he flashed me a smile. I climbed into the car and put in my air pods. I don't know how I'm gonna suffer through this hour long trip to the airport and then 11 hours and 15 minutes airplane ride with Max and Alex. Don't get me wrong, I love them both, but they are a lot. I don't know how I'm not used to them by now, considering Alex has been living with us for six years. His parents are drunks. He used to come over all of the time with bruises and cuts. My mom finally started asking questions and Alex was hesitant but eventually told her. She was used to this, considering my father was a dead beat drunk and dad. Then my mom had a whole investigation done and in the end, they were arrested for assault charges and some other shit.

We drove to the airport and I listened to my Why Don't We playlist and tried to sleep. It was 3:45 in the morning when we left. I hadn't slept at all. I was a little nervous. This was the first time I was going to fly across the world without my mother, much less live on a different continent than her.
