Tyler's POV
"Tyler, Tyler!" my little sister Amy woke me up while struggling to get up on the bed so she could shake me.
"Yes, what is it?" I said in a grump have tired voice because I had just been woken up.
"Emma's crying! Go help her." Amy said in the most worried voice I've ever heard.
I quickly got up and ran with Amy to her room which was all the way down the hall on the opposite end from mines.
When we got into the room, I saw Emma and relaxed. She was just crying in her sleep. She's probably just having a nightmare, but when I saw her, I still felt a little sad. even angry.
"She's just having a bad nightmare, Amy. Whenever she starts crying like this again, just give her a gentle push to wake her from the nightmare." I said to Amy.
"You wanna try?" I asked her and she nodded her head slowly.
She walked over to Emma and did as I had told her, and Emma woke up almost immediately.
She quickly wiped a tear then looked around to see both of us probably wondering why we were both standing around her.
"Oh, um, Amy noticed that you were crying and called me over to see what was wrong with you, it turned out just to be a nightmare." I said as I put on a smile.
"Oh, yeah." she said not fully herself just yet.
"Well, I guess since the sun's almost up, we should get up. You know, get ready before all the hot water's gone." I said trying to make our conversation lively.
"Yeah, okay."
I started walking out of the room when a thought that had never crossed my mind came to me. I quickly walked back to the door.
"Some of your clothes were washed yesterday and are downstairs in the laundry room. I'll get those for you and ask Crystal to lend you some of her clothes." I said to her then she smiled and gave a little nod.
I then left the room and went on to get ready for school.
Emma's POV
I got in the shower still trying to forget the nightmare I had about my dad again. Luckily the shower helped me clear my head.
When I was done, I got out of the shower and helped Amy get ready since my clothes hadn't come yet.
I washing her and we were talking and making jokes, and just about when I was done I heard a knock on the door.
"Who's is it? I asked just before opening the door.
"I'm here to drop off your clothes and lend you some." I heard a voice which was most likely Crystal say.
"I'll be out in just one minute." I said right after turning back to Amy.
"You think you can rinse off while I go and get my clothes to dress up?" I asked with a smile on my face.
"Yeah. I'm fine." she said with a big smile on her face.
"Okay, the towel is right here and don't forget to turn off the water if I'm not back. Anyway's, I'll be right back." I said and she nodded while I left the bathroom.
"Thanks for bringing my clothes up for me." I said trying to be as nice as possible since our first encounter wasn't as well as it could have possibly gone.
"Bitch, don't try to kiss up to me. Just because my brother likes you doesn't mean I will." she said getting straight to the point.
I knew it would go this way, but I didn't think it would hurt as much.
