The REAL Beginning to a Brighter Future

#10 Asylum?

Hi again, sorry, since when I'm writing this story IT 2 hasn't come out yet I'm just guessing what happens so if it's not right I'm sorry. But who is excited for IT 2??!! Anyways back to the story.

We were about 10 minutes into the movie and the characters were being SOOO FUCKING STUUUPIIDDD.
"What are you DOING?!" Emily shouts to the TV.
"Thats never gonna - I'm loosing my mind."
"Same here." We both laugh and carry on with the movie.

It was Getting creepy as fuck now.
"No. No. Nooooo." Emily says hugging the pillow in her arms harder.
"I don't think I'm ready for this." I say in a whisper.
"Me neither."
Emily says and we cuddle next to eachother kind of scared. I can't believe I've made an actual friend already I really like her and I feel like I can trust her.
My heart started to race at the scene that was playing on the TV. There was a screeching sound of the movie and it faded to black. There was a long moment of silence, and then Emily spoke.
"WWWHHHAAAT!!!!"
I look at her.
"That can't be it!!!"
"Are you serious?!" She says walking over to the TV inspecting it.
"Ther HAS to be a fault in here somewhere."
She steps back and puts her hands through her hair.
"Omg my God."
I stare at a spot on the floor.
"My life is a lie." I finally blurt out.
We sit there in silence but then get interrupted by someone slamming the door opening and us screaming the fuck out. And yes once again shitting my pants. Emily stands up and says.
"OH my God really?"
And she starts pushing Ethan out the door. Ethan then laughs and says
"Why you guys so jumpy?"
"We just watched an intense movie and don't know how to respond to it."
He looks at us and nods.
"What movie?"
"IT 2." I say and look at him.
He looks at us wide eyed.
"It's fucked right?!" He says
"Yesssss!" Emily says and sits down.
I fill the silence and ask.
"So you guys are siblings then?"
Emily looks and me and says.
"OH yeah we're actually twins so you know it can get frustrating."
I laugh.
"Ya I get you. I also had a twin brother but he disappeared when I was about 11 soo ya I kinda miss having someone I can talk to."
Emily looks at me with regret on her face.
"I'm- I'm so sorry I didn't mean to hurt you or anything..."
I look at her and smile.
"OH no don't worry he was annoying too."
I laugh and look up to remember him only to find it a little hard to remember what he looks like. Ethan looks at his phone and says
"Oh uh by the ways the guys are coming over to game and stuff so if you wanna join us you can."
"Ok cool thanks Eth." Ethan then leaves the room and closes the door. I look at Emily confused.
"Eth?"
She looks at me and laughs.
"It's just a little nickname I give him."
" What does he call you?"
"OH he just calls me Emily. But Liam calls me Em." She looks down and smiles. She does like him. I look at her and smirk.
"You like him don't you?"
She looks at me.
"Who Ethan? Ya he's my brother."
"You know who I mean."
"Oh Liam... Well ya he's my friend."
I see her cheeks go red and she puts her head down.
"It's OK to like someone in that way you know."
She looks back up to me.
" Well ya but not you and your brothers best friend."
I look at her and smile.
"I think you'd be cute together. He likes you too. I can see it."
She looks at me and laughs.
"Thats HALERIOUS!! You think he likes me? HAHA!"
I look at her and frown.
"Ya I do actually. Go and ask your friends and see how THEY respond."
She laughs again.
"Ok ok fine I will but I assure you that's bullshit."
We both just laugh and talk about random thoughts. She then asks me.
"So who were your friends at your old school?" With a giggle. Oh my God. My friends? I can't even remember who my old friends were. I then say to her.
"I... I can hardly remember my friends cause after the asylum I just got drained out."
HO-LY SHIT YOU IDIOT! Why did you just tell her THAT. I'm dead I'm so dead! She looks at me shocked.
"As-asylum?"
I drop my head knowing that I just fucked up and looked up again. I guess it's just her and Im NOT gonna tell her everything. I don't want her being scared. I look at her and said.
"I SWEAR to God if you tell ANYONE about this I'll kill you."
She looks at me and nods.
"I promise I won't."
I take a breath.
"Yes I went to an asylum."
She looks at me worried.
"For how long?"
"Thre- three years..."
She puts her hand in front of her mouth.
"Three years! Oh my God I'm so sorry!"
She pulls me into a hug. Tears start to form. I've never been hugged ever. Shes not scared like everyone else would be if they heard I was in an asylum. I hug back and she then after a few minutes pulls away and says.
"What did they do to you in there?"
I look down and say.
"I don't know why but they put my in a bunch of rooms. One was hot, one was cold, one had some fucking plants in it and one was this enclosed space."
She looks at me with a sad look on her face.
"I'm sorry... It won't happen again right?"
"I don't think so..."
She smiles.
"Its good to hope!"
We both laugh. She looks around and then says.
"Are you hungry?" I look at her and laugh cause I was just thinking the same thing.
"Ya."
"Cool let's go!"
We both walk out the room and down the stairs. I really like Emily she's the first real friend I can remember having...
