Chapter 1: Morning

My alarm clock goes off. Damn it. It's the first day back at my crappy excuse for a school. I reach over and turn off my alarm clock before sitting up in bed. I look around my room, seeing my folded black school clothes in a chair waiting for me. Mom must have did that. I sigh before tossing the covers off my legs. This school year was going to suck, since I have no classes with any of my friends. I sat in bed thinking about how I was possibly going to get through this school year.

"Well, maybe I'll get to see them in the morning during breakfast." I mumbled before dragging myself into the bathroom. I take a quick shower and wash my face in the sink. I stare at my clothes, not wanting to put them on. I sighed heavily before changing into the black school shirt and hoodie with black jeans. I picked out black Vans from my closet.

I sluggishly walked out of my room and yelled at my mom's room door. "Mom, I'm leaving! See you after school!" She responded after with a "Bye (Y/N), have a good day!"

I walk to school, taking a good five minutes out of my life each day. I would walk with a friend, (BF1/N){best friend 1's name}, but they got transferred to a different school since they got into so many fights. So now I'm just walking toward this jail cell that I have to stay in for 7 hours.

At the beginning of each school year here, they would make everyone sit in the cafeteria and listen to the principal give 30 minute speeches. It was the same speech from last year, and I'm not surprised in the slightest.

The principal would talk about where he was from, his expectations and standards, like the students would give a damn about it. He'd say that he loved us, yet he knew exactly that he would hate a good handful of the students here. Oh just wait, Mr. Principal. Just you wait.

I wasn't listening to anything the principal was saying. I was just looking around at all the people I'd knew I would hate, when I came across this one boy. He was about my height, and he had dark green hair. He was an eight grader, too.

"Why green out of all colors?" I questioned to myself.

"Now everyone go to first period. Ask someone if you get lost." the principal said before walking off of the stage.

Everyone started getting up and talking. I sat, waiting for everyone to pass me. I saw the green haired boy and got up a little after him.

I followed him, since he looked like he was going in the direction I was supposed to be going.

He entered A-Hall, which was the hall I was going to. I had Math upstairs, and he seemed to be headed in that direction too. I followed him up the stairs.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!"

I stepped on his shoe. I panicked a little when he turned to look at me.

He had unusually black eyes and sharp teeth. He also was growing a beard.

I stared at him and he stared back for a second before talking.

"It's okay."

His voice had an Irish ring to it, and he sounded really calm. I really didn't expect him to be okay with that. He looked so evil, and oddly familiar for that matter.

"Uh, do you happen to be going to Mrs.Brown's class?" I asked while looking into his dark eyes.

"Yeah, why?"

"No reason, just wondering..."

"Okay..."

He looked at me up and down like I was stupid before walking off to the class.

I, on the other hand, ran into the bathroom. No one was in there, luckily. I had a couple of minutes to comprehend what just happened. A boy with black eyes, a beard, and sharp teeth. I don't know what I took before going to sleep last night, or what kind of effect its having on me, but I never want it again!
